  habitación decente a pesar de la actitud del personal de recepción

  Con toda una serie de problemas para dormir en los hoteles, trato de ser lo más educado y conciso posible a la hora de pedir una habitación en una zona tranquila. En un primer momento me pusieron en una habitación que daba a una esquina en la intersección de los bulevares más importantes y supe inmediatamente que el ruido era excesivo. Tras volver a recepción les pregunté si la reserva que hice limitaba la elección de habitación a la que me habían dado orientada a las dos calles principales. Me dijo que mi habitación era la única vacante y que lo tenían todo completo a pesar de que el conserje me había dicho que estaba medio lleno. A la vista de los papeles que habían dejado en la puerta, yo me levanté a las 6 de la mañana, parecía que el hotel estaba a un 25% de su capacidad.

  Was Alright.

  My husband and I recently stayed a long weekend for our 10th anniversary. I booked this based on the view, price and reviews. The short of it: this was a nice looking hotel with elegance but way over priced food and drinks Cons: lets start with check in! The line was very long and slow. The food menu is very limited, we both ordered 10oz steak. My steak was tiny. Neither had any flavor and only came with fries. For $36 I was very annoyed. A Corona was $9 and mojito was $16 and it wasnt good. There was some room party or something next to us snd they were loud And made the whole hallway and our room smell like weed. The bed was hard, pillows were flat and no extra blanket. Also we paid for a room with a view, we basically looked straight at the Raphael hotel so there wasnt that much of a view. Also I was annoyed that during check in, the person checking us in didnt tell us about the live band or the specials going on for Valentines Day. We would have really enjoyed that. But since we park on the floor our room was on, we never saw a need to go downstairs, which was where the live band was. Pros: it was very elegant and clean around the hotel. Our room was very spacious. The TV was much larger than most hotels we have stayed in. The lightening in the bathroom was perfect for putting on my makeup and just overall in general. Most hotel bathrooms are dim. We were not bugged every morning by housekeeping even though we were staying multiple nights. We have experienced that at other hotels. There were plenty of towels in the restroom. The Keurig was very nice to have. Quick and easy and the selection of coffee And tea was perfect! Things Covid changed: no room service. I was sooooo looking forward to ordering breakfast so that was a big bummer. And no gift shop. I actually needed that shop because I had forgotten my tooth brush and some toiletries. Stupid Covid-19! Overall I would stay again. But I wouldnt eat there and I would ask about entertainment.

  Excellent Property - Remodel looks great

  Recently stayed here while attending a Chiefs game in KC. have been staying at this property since it was a Ritz. Staff was great, COVID prep and handling was on point. Rooms are well appointed and many have great views. This hotel is walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars. will review the lobby bar - American Slang - separately but the staff their took great care of us! all in all a great place to stay with a very friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable.

  Gone way downhill

  We stayed here for a weekend retreat because we have known this hotel for many years. Very few guests were booked. We discovered why: 1. No bell staff at all. We had to carry our bags to our room ourselves. 2. No cooling in the room. Outside temp was about 55 and we had to open the sliding glass door all night to stay cool enough. Traffic noise all night. 3. One outside door was locked at 5:00 but posted to be locked at 10:30. 4. Site lighting was not on at dark in front of the hotel. 5. Worst of all - the elevators were not functional at 7 am. We were on the 9th floor and had to walk down the exit stairway which has NO access to the lobby. Exit doors were locked.

  Prime, at Intercontinental the City, Doha offers an exquisite cut of meat, a serene ambience, and definitely personable service with a smile. Our compliments to chef Roshan and a big thanks to Arvin, our server. Will definitely be coming back soon.
