  What a great find, and perfect with my dog

  I pre-booked the hotel for a single night's stay as I was travelling by car from Italy back to Scotland. It has a kind of "motel" look to it, and it's just off the main route, but I was really impressed. The room was a good size, clean and modern. It looked exactly like the online photos. The bed was super comfortable and there was virtually no noise at all from the road. I was allocated a ground floor room as I had pre-booked my dog as well (for which there was no charge), and so the room had a patio door leading straight onto a little grassy area - perfect for any middle of the night pees without disturbing the other guests. I was able to walk the dog along the canal path just across the road, and there was ample parking. Dinner cost 17 for a set 3-course menu with several options for each course, including fillet steak, and breakfast was a fairly standard buffet for 8.50. All in all I thought this hotel was great for a budget hotel and I'd definitely go back.

  Transit hotel

  Nice rooms, professional personal. Breakfast is OK but the eggs are missing. Parking space is OK. Enough restaurants in Jeuxey which are open 7/7. Food in the hotel is not so good. Good hotel if you travel to the South or North.

  Good hotel and perfect service

  Good service and staff, good breakfast to spend the morning, nice location, wifi in the hotel is good, parking on own terein and not on the street, bed confortabel and room is clean, this hotel chose to stop for south france.

  Transition Stage...

  Arrived at Prest Hotel around 9:30pm. Lady on reception was very helpful and very welcoming. We were given a 2 bedroom suite at no extra cost. We were very appreciative of this. We got the distinct feeling, that the lady in charge of the hotel was less than happy with our attendance for breakfast at 9am (served until 9:30am) and even MORE less than happy about our checkout time of 11am (check out is until 12pm). She couldn't even bring herself to say goodbye as we left.

  Spoilt by the breakfast

  Clean, basic room, polite young lady receptionist. Very quiet location though almost under motorway. No restaurant on Fridays as this is a businessman's (i.e. a rep's) stop-off, We had found this out before so were not disappointed. The breakfast WAS a disappointment, as by the time I got to it at 0830 a coachload from Geneve had taken nearly all the food. There were no plates, no trays available, as I pointed out to the morning receptionist. He looked at me with a shrug and said 'They are all in use. We've got a lot of people in'. He or the management had NOT found this out beforehand as I had about the restaurant. Apparently. If the Genevan horde were expected, why was more adequate provision made: extra staff, more food ordered? I made do with the last piece of French loaf, a yogurt and a pot of jam, using a paper napkin as a plate. I pressed the cappucino button on the coffee dispenser and got hot chocolate. At no time did clean plates or trays reappear. A girl brought in a tray of warm but anaemic panini as a too-late gesture. The receptionist apologised but no refund was offered - well, what would I expect, here in tight-fisted France? That non-breakfast cost me 8.50. If they charge that much, they should at least make sure every guest is fed. The room cost 55 - not bad - but the nearby Campanile is cheaper I believe. I should not have ordered breakfast but I have to eat, being diabetic. I never complain about minor blips but this was flagitious.
