  Very Good Value

  Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights towards the end of April whilst viewing properties in the Mayenne. This modern hotel comprises of 26 bedrooms with meeting facilities and is situated just outside the centre of Chateau Gontier on the road to d`Angers. Well run very clean establishment, comfortable well equipped en-suite rooms, friendly helpful staff and own private car parking. The hotel only serves a buffet breakfast but at 7.00 Euros represents excellent value with a good spread of cold boiled eggs, ham, cereals, bread and cake, croissants, juices, dried fruits, selection of yoghourts, tea, coffee etc. A far better breakfast on offer than other hotels that we had stayed at on the same visit. Owned by the same family as the nearby Park hotel which is situated closer to the town centre.

  Pleasant stop over

  Nice, clean, quiet hotel situated a couple of hundred yards off the road. Situated on the edge of town its a good 15 minute walk into town. The town of Chateau Gontier is well served with a sprinkling of bars and restaurants.The beds were comfortable and breakfast was adequate.Would I stay here again ? Yes.

  The front closes early.

  The front closes early. Be careful if checking out in late night or early in the morning. Breakfast is simple. Also the bathroom shower has no curtain so the floor gets all wet when you aren't careful.
