  Bonita ubicación, personal agradable

  Ventajas: Tiene un pequeño patio privado aparte de la habitación, las camas son cómodas, el personal es servicial, el desayuno buffet es básico pero rico, es cómodo para ir a Canyon Rd. Inconvenientes: El nórdico de la cama era demasiado pesado sería mejor poner un edredón fino.

  Vacación estupenda en Santa Fe

  El Inn on the Alameda superó mis expectativas. Lindas habitaciones y muy buen servicio incluyendo traslado gratuito a 3 km a la redonda. Lo repetiría. Sólo mejoraría un poco la variedad de los desayunos

  Love this Inn

  There are many choices in Santa Fe. I continually choose to come back to this Inn for the friendliness, consistency, etc. I see the same faces at the front desk year after year. The location is great.

  So, so nice!

  We really enjoyed our stay! Nice and clean room, comfy bed, with a really great breakfast too! Karen, Brian and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful! Convenient parking! Close to the plaza.

  Disappointed

  First, some of the staff were great -- a Latino man in his 30s or 40s, the woman who runs the kitchen -- wonderful. The white lady who checked us in -- eh. The place is historic and in a location close to the center of the touristy part of town, I will give it that. There are wood stoves or fireplaces inside and we went when it was cold, so everything smelled smoky ("mesquite") which messed with my allergies (I hate that smell). The place was nothing special at all. No elevator if you have an upstairs room, so be prepared to lug luggage up the stairs (there are two floors). Not luxurious in the slightest. The bathroom mirror had rust on the bottom, the walls in the bathroom had some cracks where they joined, there was nothing extra in the way of creature comforts -- just okay. It wasn't a bad place, it was just okay. I felt a little ripped off because the website said, "Third best place to stay in the west". Western what? I live in the west and I have stayed in many better hotels. The night we were there, a man and woman (other guests) were fighting in their room. A police officer or security guard came to help the woman who had been punched in the face. Even after she left with the escort, I heard pounding on a wall for awhile (I think they removed the victim, not the perp?). I know this is not the hotel's fault, but the whole experience was anything but a luxurious overnight stay in Santa Fe.
