    Great Staff

This is my third visit to Tulip Inn, I wanted to write a good comment to the Staff, like Mateo,Pepe and Pino. They are caring to all my needs, and always welcoming. Mateo remember my name, Pepe and Pino are great chefs. Toni the manager has a great customer standard. Thank you all

    Poor standards, poor staff attitude

I have stayed with the chain before and had great experiences. Their tag line is International standards, local flavor. To me it is about the standards, this place is not doing it. I was excited with the prospect of the stay. Went above my per diem to upgrade to a kitchenette suite. Extra space nice for long stay. Past reviews talk about the place being clean, mold in the shower, housekeeping unconcerned. The kitchenette incomplete, no microwave. As far as supplies, 1 set of flat ware, no bottle opener or cooking tools. Really? Room service disappointment. On a couple of nights, the pasta dish was only pasta, no sauce and part of a chopped-up sausage. When you place the order, kitchen forgets about it,you call an hour later and get a lame excuse. The condition of the furniture makes me think this place has seen better days. I am in an upgraded room and the furniture looks like a Doberman has gone to town on it. I needed a document printed that came in late for a meeting the next day. I go to the front desk to ask about a business center, answer from the clerk no. I asked if I could email the attachment to the hotel answer flat no. No suggestion to how to help, just a unconnected attitude that I was bothering her and should leave her alone. Going back to their tag line local flavors Ive worked in Italy before and I get it. But from a Tulip property I expect higher standards. My advice find another place that is willing to give you decent service. This aint it.

    Happy Visitor

This place has everything you need and I really appreciated how they have a kitchen downstairs with chefs Francesco and Marco who offer a daily daily menu (get anything with eggplant its absolutely delicious!). Mrs. Susy is very sweet and will offer you helpful advice if you have questions about the local area and Italy in general, even car advice! Vincenzo is eager to please and Giuseppe, the other attendant, is also very kind and helpful. The front desk people are just as excellent and so is house keeping, if you need something all you have to do is ask at it is provided for you, or for you to use. The services themselves in general are what you need to function if you have to quarantine here: Food: I greatly appreciated how I didn't have to worry about food at all because they provide you a menu and you choose from the daily options. Communication: Not all the staff are fluent in English so be patient, and hey there's no shame in using a translator app as a useful tool for both of you (plus they honestly are greatful when I use it). Generally though if you are quarantined in the room they always fetch someone if the point doesn't quite come across but they are just fine for the most part. Internet: Sometimes the internet fluctuates like the rest of Italy but understand its a shared public connection, so you can stream perfectly with no issues but there's not enough bandwidth for you to do multi-player or high-speed connection demanding video games. Room Info: The beds are firm like most of the rest reportedly in Italy. If you're single you can use the comforter as both a blanket and a pillow-top pad if you wrap yourself like a burrito. and I find the water is hottest at night and so-so in the morning. This too fluctuates, so make sure to test the water before getting in because it could be VERY hot. You won't have a microwave or mini-fridge if you don't get a room with a kitchenette. Hope this covers all the questions you have questions and remember to be kind, patient, and open with your experiences!

    Terrible

Terrible place. The only thing that makes this place bearable is the kind staff. Im here during COVID-19 and the food that was delivered to my room was inedible. I recommend using an off site restaurant.

    Never again.

Been coming here monthly for a few years now and always enjoyed it and gave it very good reviews. But as of 1 January it is no longer part of the Golden Tulip chain and is not the same. Staff is the same, and they are great: Giuseppe, in the dining room is wonderful; Mariarosaria. Agnese, Marco and Fabio at the front desk provide great service. The problem? In December we paid Euro 65 for our double room; in January with the name change leaving the Golden Tulip chain we paid Euro 85 for the same double room. This makes it the highest priced in the area, and certainly not worth the extra Euro 20. And, to make it worse, we were initially given a room that reeked of stale cigarette smoke, in a non-smoking environment. Good front desk service moved us.
