  Very convenient and accessible to public transport and city attractions

  My first trip to Taipei and it was good to stay with Inn Cube - Ximen which is not far from the venue of the conference. At first, I booked for two nights (single room) and planned to transfer to other hostels if Inn Cube was not convenient during my 7-day stay in Taipei. Surprisingly, the hostel was bit accessible to MRT station that connects to other destinations within the city area. On the second day, my Aunt arrived and she also booked for a single room for a night. Immediately, I decided to booked and transferred to a double-deck room on the third day which was more spacious than the single one. The single room was perfect for good sleep with clean and white linens and comforter. The wifi was excellent with fast internet connection. The toilet was clean with complete toiletries inside, with free flowing hot and cold drinking water with dedicated area for dining and chatting with friends. The towels can be changed daily as you have tell the front desk during the morning to have it change. Even the rooms are quite close to each other but it was not noisy during the night time. The hostel is located at the 8th floor so the noise from the vehicles down the road could not be heard. The two elevators were functioning well. The staff were serious-looking (not smiling) but they were approachable even they could not speak English well.

  SUCH AND STAFF NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL

  During my stay I VERY UNHAPPY with that room small and no light in corridor and during pass room key the staff also not even give us direction which area we stay just mention you room next building and service of staff very such. not smile and welcome us during we check in Specially the that two Short hair girls and one chubby guy. i hope Management please do action improve your Customer service of staff before hiring !

  Great stay at a very affordable cost

  More spacious than I thought, not sure about others, but my luggage and shopping bags fitted perfectly in the cubicle with room for me to pack comfortably as well. Great use of space, where there's also a desk for me to use my laptop comfortably. Did not expect a television with a variety of channels, but there it is. Mirror fitted in cubicle to make sure you look good before going out. Great neighbours who minimize their noise levels to not disrupt others. Conveniently located. However, room was a little too cold for me, good thing I had a jacket and also hid comfortably under the blanket. The washroom/shower rooms could be better maintained, though they're clean enough to use but girls and their long strands of hair laying around on the floor can be a turn off. Forgot if towels were provided but I brought my own. Well, I've enjoyed the stay!

  Pleasant experience - clean and comfortable

  The space was cleaner than I thought. Cubicle size were pleasant, sufficient for light weight traveller with smaller bags. Bathrooms were clean with shampoo and body wash provided. Heater and hair dryer are available too. Location were strategic and it's just a 5 mins walk to Ximending. To Taipei Main Station is only one bus stop away. Foods are available even at 2am, just walk along the street and you'll get to enjoy their local delicacy like Lu Wei. If you love dessert, do Google for nearby 85 cafe, price are reasonable n cakes were deliciously awesome! Don't forget to visit Ice Papa Ice Shaved too, they're just walking distance from the hostel. For this price, this is a real deal. Ill be back!

  First experience

  1st day was checked in by a girl( tomboy) & a big size man. Wasnt greeted by them. No smiling face & toned of voice not pleasant. Location is fantastic. Cleanliness is good but toilet not regularly checked or clean after used by customers. My bedroom is single occupancy. Very small but got privacy . Only 1 miserable pillow given . Good facilities with hot water, chiller, coffee etc. Brushing teeth on sink has got no hot water. If youre budgeted traveller its a good place.
