  A sad trip improved

  We were over to Bracebridge for a funeral. What could have been a sad experience was made much better by the Inn and it's staff. The room was comfortable and spacious. A good view of the falls. We were warned by friends in town that the dining room wasn't what it used to be. Very happy to prove them wrong! The food was excellent! Roland is a very professional waiter, yet friendly at the same time. So the new owner has found a chef worth his/her weight in gold! The dining room has been redecorated. Different, but still charming.

  Above Average Room, but needs a bit of maintenance

  First of all, they demanded a $40 deposit to "reserve" the room. Well, okay. However the place had almost no guests and so a "room reservation" wasn't really required. The room itself was a bit above average. Among other things, the bathroom had a skylight. So if you got up in the middle of the night, you had light in the bathroom. But you could see spots where the paint had either chipped away or flaked away a bit. Not a big issue. But you'd think something like that would be taken care of. Yes, you are close to the falls (though our room didn't have much of a view of it). But you are paying maybe $15 - $20 for it. It might be worth it in the spring/summer/fall when there is a nice view to look at. In the winter? Not so much. And yes, you are fairly close to the downtown area, though in Bracebridge most things aren't too far away. And I can't say anything about the food in the restaurant as we only had a "quickie" breakfast there (which was okay).

  Just what we needed!

  We were looking for a couple relaxing nights away, and Inn at the Falls was just perfect. Our room was nicely cared for, it had a beautiful balcony view of the water and the bed was so comfy. The new owners - who just bought it this year - are fantastic! They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was lovely. It seems like theyve got some big plans for the place, and we would LOVE to see them succeed... we plan to be back again! Thanks for a great stay!

  A quick getaway

  My husband and I booked a boat cruise with Sunset Cruises and decided to stay overnight at the Inn. Minna, the new owner, was delightful and very welcoming. Our room was lovely and clean, and had a large balcony. A simple breakfast of yogurt, granola bars, coffee/tea and juice was provided in our room, which was perfect for us. We look forward to returning.

  Love, Love, Love the Inn at the Falls

  We had the most beautiful room with a king bed and large fireplace, and a spectacular view of the Muskoka river. The new owners are very kind and helpful. The Mews rooms had a makeover which includes soundproofing. It was a romantic getaway we needed for our wedding anniversary. Privacy, relaxation, and stupendous views. Thank you very much, Cliff, for the tour of the grounds. We know the Inn at the Falls is in great hands thanks to you and Minna, and staff. One of our fav places to stay.
