  Great Service/Lovely Suite

  Just needed an overnight while I was picking up an rv...this is in a small college town in Middletown CT...so charming. The one bedroom suite had a small kitchenette area that allowed me to shop for the night and breakfast since restaurant dining was curtailed.

  Wonderful experience

  I was at the Inn at Middletown as i had surgery at an Orthopedic clinic there and a snowstorm was expected. The Inn was two miles away from the clinic and we decided it would not be possible to make it in the morning after the expected (and it did happen) foot of snow so we went down the night before and stayed an extra night after. First the Inn is dog friendly which was very appreciated. It removed much stress. Second, the front desk went out of its way to make us comfortable and welcome despite diminished services due to Covid. Gary in particular helped us incredibly given my surgery, the snow, the logistics. I literally can't say enough about the kindness shown and compassion including by the ladies at the front desk. The inn itself is lovely and in a wonderful location in downtown Middletown. Takeout food near. Clean, safe and following Covid protocols for safety and it is well appointed. I needed ice post surgery and it was there. The Inn is a place with a heart, a lot of style, and a terrific place to stay. However, it is the staff that"makes" it and they are to be congratulated for making the stay memorable in the best possible way. You won't be sorry if you make it your place to stop.   Plan your local getaway here right now!

  We were looking to find a safe, overnight, local change of scenery for our family of four. Not only was the Inn safe, super clean, with the friendliest staff, it was also comfortable and provided all the information we needed to enjoy ourselves. You are walking distance to delicious take-out and/or delivery, which you can enjoy in the comfort of your room. And here's the best - they started a by reservation game room, which includes corn hole, large Jenga, large Connect 4, board games, bowling, and a selfie station! (We were ensured that everything is sanitized after a reservation is complete.) We are only an hour's drive from this inn, but we will be coming back - it felt like we took a vacation. The kids had a blast!

  Great hotel and awesome location

  We stayed here overnight after going snow tubing at Powder Ridge. The hotel is great. It's clean, decent size room for our family and close walking distance to places to eat. I'm glad we turned it into an overnight stay and have enjoyed the 11am check out!!!

  Middletown stay

  I stayed over for work r/t snow. The pool is closed. There was a parking ban and there is no on-site parking. No microwave in the room. The staff was friendly. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and nice pillows. Kind of pricey for not having pool open.
