Birthday Celebration with family.Wonderful experience. Everything was lovely. My room was on the third floor overlooking the ocean. I highly recommend the Inn at Discovery Coast. I particularly like the fact that it is very quiet ~ adults only. Book your reservation!

The Best! This place and the Adrift are the best. The rooms are comfortable no matter which room you are in. The PIckled Fish serves delicious food. They are pet friendly and go out of their way to help personalize your stay.

Interesting value for your money..Slightly over priced... Especially what with the, collection of dirty discarded socks just off of our balcony, the garbage of old silica packs and sandwich bags just off of our balcony. This seemed to be paired with the garbage bag of refuse under the stairwell as you walked into the accommodations... And we certainly don't want to overlook the horse droppings that littered the lane on the drive up to the accommodation... aside from that a close proximity to the beach, if you don't mind a sleepless night, due to the 40-lb dog upstairs, dropping his hard chew toy, throughout the night until 1am and starting at 6 am... All on hardwood floors... all this can be yours for $240 a night..

Decent but overpricedMy wife and I were looking to get away for a socially distanced weekend at the beach after being stuck at the house for five months. After doing some research we settled on the Inn at Discovery Coast. We have stayed at Adrift before and found it decent enough, but probably would not stay again. The Inn is owned by the same company but presented as a more boutique/premium option. While we did find it to be better, a lot of the issues we had at Adrift have unfortunate been replicated at this property. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Given the current COVID situation I think they did a good job setting up common areas with social distancing in mind. All of the staff we encountered wore masks. There were signs up stating that masks were required in the lobby and there were several hand sanitizer dispensers in the common areas. We did encounter several guests in the outdoor common areas and hallways who were not wearing masks. I'm not sure how much control the staff have over enforcing that, but people were generally respectful of each other's space. Another positive is that the food at Pickled Fish is very good, especially for a hotel restaurant. They have plenty of unique and interesting options. We ordered room service from them twice, and both times it arrived promptly. The included breakfast baskets are also a nice touch. As far as the negatives go, I simply don't think the room was worth what they're charging. I don't mind the faux rustic theme and I have seen it done very well, but at this property it just looks a little cheap and sloppy. The fireplace surround is made up of exposed, graywashed cement backer board, the finish on the floorboards was deteriorating, the shower did not drain properly. It almost seems like they used the rustic theme as an excuse to cut corners in hopes that it would disguise the workmanship issues. These are issues I noticed from a previous stay at Adrift but at $400+ per night for the Inn, I expected better. The rooms also have poor sound isolation and the furnishings looked worn out (although thankfully the mattress was comfortable). As another reviewer mentioned, there was some trash littered around the property, which made me question the cleanliness of the room. At one point our dog spilled some water and when I wiped it up, the paper towel picked up a bunch of dirt off the floor. Did they even mop between guests? It was a little unsettling to question room cleanliness with COVID going on. Overall, we had a decent enough stay. I realize that the high cost was due in part to it being peak season, but in this price range, we've stayed at better lodging options along the Oregon coast. I would consider this property again, but I think I would hold off until the off season, when the prices are more in line with the quality of the offering.
