  A beautiful peaceful stay in Vermont

  A stay at this beautiful inn is worth the trip to Vermont. On a hillside overlooking the gorge, it has a large porch and lawn with comfortable chairs. Sometimes hot air balloons float by or land.. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We both sleep where. The entire inn is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our host was very welcoming and gave us just the right amount of space. And our breakfasts were fantastic.

  Old fashioned charm and very comfortable

  We ended up here because everything near the event we were attending in Barre some 53 miles north was not available. That said, we will likely choose Inn again even if lots else is available. The grounds are charming and the parking much better than most (nicely paved, big spaces close to the Inn entrance and easy turnaround). The Inn was spotless inside with exceptionally good beds and bedding. I had a best anywhere nap there in addition to our two nights of sleep! The rooms were well-appointed, with nice bathroom amenities and the breakfast was delicious. It would be nice if the breakfast service time was much earlier, giving more time to do things (7:30 instead of 9:00 am?), but thats about all we would change.

  Perfect Vermont Getaway in Green Mountains, Year-Round!

  The Inn At Clearwater Pond was a delightful rural retreat yet near many central Vermont attractions too: an easy five miles to Woodstocks many treasures; half hour to Mount Killington; & about a mile from Quechee Gorge, covered bridges, the Ottauquechee River, and VINS Nature Center. Youre seeing the heart of the loveliest valley in Vermonts Green Mountains. The Inn is open year-round. Owner/host Tina DeLuca has created a warm, unique space with advantages of a rural retreat, modern comforts, & a playful sense of wonder. Surprises small (painted coasters) n large (chandelier at breakfast) combine with her imagination to create delight: your own room, breakfast room with unforgettable homemade feasts daily, common rooms, & even a small gift shop space with useful yet unusual treasures, such as notecards & scarfs. Breakfast is included with cost of room: Sundays apple-pancake-with-caramel-sauce was especially memorable. The Inn also features a lovely pond, wraparound porch with chairs, and spacious grounds. Our Lila Marin features a voluptuous king-sized bed (gorgeous bedclothes & pillows), comfy yet eclectic sitting room (red leather chair), & large modern bathroom. VINS specializes in raptors up close (hawks, eagles, falcons, owls)... check times for daily Birds In Flight demos & Feeding Schedule. Numerous other VINS exhibits and programs are worthy year-round. Our at-least-annual visit to VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science) is always unforgettable. Great for kids, too. Bonus: A new Forest Canopy Walk lets you walk high among the trees on a safe, easy boardwalk, to view plants & animals in a wholly different way. The Inn at Clearwater Pond in Quechee, Vermont: Highly recommended! Even if you never learn to pronounce Otttauquechee River correctly. Five stars, definitely.

  Fabulous 2-day stay

  This was a wonderful experience. Tina, the owner/innkeeper, is a very warm and welcoming hostess and provides a wealth of advice and information (including a detailed welcoming email in advance). The facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are yummy! The location is also very nice - beautiful back yard with great view. If I'm ever back in the area I will most certainly stay there again. I highly recommend it.

  No better Inn and Innkeeper on planet Earth

  There aren't enough superlatives to describe the perfect Inn and Innkeeper Tina. The Inn itself is expertly designed and appointed sitting among lush grounds and with that, the solitude it provides is worth every penny. I'll summarize to say you can't go wrong.
