  Comfortable Inn with excellent service and great location.

  Wonderful stay. We were very warmly welcomed and shown our room. We opted for the Lily room 304 with the shared balcony. The room was well appointed, comfortable and had a large bathroom. There is also a large closet and the room gets very nice natural light. The balcony is very large and is shared with the room next to it. Breakfast was very nice. The location of the Inn makes it very easy to walk to most of the Springfield attractions, especially the Dana-Thomas House and the Capital building. There is a great article framed on the main floor that speaks to the building being built as luxury apartments and the overall renovation history. Really worth reading. The inn is a perfect place for a few nights and I would happily stay at the Inn again.

  Wonderful Historic Property

  This property was a luxury apartment building built in 1909. It's been rebuilt into a small boutique hotel. Each room has character and you get to choose from pix and description on-line. The bedding was nice. There's a lovely living room where we went to play games. Breakfast was amazing, prepared fresh by a real chef. Air conditioning was good. Short on electrical outlets, but we found enough for our gear. The staff was exceptional and friendly.

  No hot breakfast due to COVID

  We really enjoyed our couples getaway at the Inn at 835. The room was really nice, clean and historic. The staff was very courteous and helped us with everything we needed. We had a great fireplace in our room. After seeing all the pictures of the delicious breakfasts on Trip Advisory, we were highly disappointed they were only serving cereals, fruit, oatmeal and pastries due to COVID. It seems like they could still keep some hot breakfast items if theyre made to order like there website says. Theres plenty of room in the dining area or outside to eat socially distanced, or they could deliver orders to rooms. Dont go expecting a hot breakfast! We felt we paid too much for the breakfast offered, but the room was nice!

  Great B&B

  Enjoyed our two night stay at the Inn. Comfortable room on the second floor with an outside balcony where we enjoyed a well-coming glass of wine. Room was very clean and comfortable with individually controlled heat. Evenings were spent in the parlor in front of a warm gas fire place, playing board games. Breakfast was limited due to covid precautions but still very satisfying and safe, including fruit, yogurt, pastries and more. There is a refrigerator on the third floor for guest use. Elevator provides easy access to rooms, although we only used it to bring in our luggage. The stair case is very wide and easy to use. Large parking lot and good wifi through out. Inn is waking distance to the Frank Lloyd Wright home and a short drive or even walk to the downtown area. Skip the chain hotels on the outskirts of town and enjoy this historic property

  Service, Service, Service

  We loved our stay at the Inn. The location is quite convenient and within walking distance of major attractions. Our suite was sweet! The bathroom was fantastic, and the king size bed was very comfy. We appreciated being shown around the hotel and being able to request the level of cleaning that we wanted each day. And, the wine/beer in the evenings and special treats delivered by basket each night were delightful! The staff was attentive and responsive. The no-cost parking right on the property was also a plus. We highly recommend this hotel.
