  Wonderful boutique hotel

  I can indeed recommend that hotel, right in the heart of old town Lijian. Very comfortable, big rooms, wonderful bathrooms, comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. Will go there again, worth staying.

  Exceptional Service Adjacent to Ancient Town

  Big thanks to the wonderful staff at the Hotel Indigo Lijiang. We would like to especially mention Rita who contacted us prior to our arrival and continued to do so during our 3-day trip and stay in Lijiang. Rita took care of our airport transportations and Jade Dragon Impression Show. She also took us to the Hotel Intercontinental next door as guests from the Hotel Indigo are able to use facilities at the Hotel Intercontinental. Rita checked with us throughout our stay to make sure that our needs were met. Thank you very much, Rita! I also want to point out that our room was immaculate. We had plenty of space. It was the first time that we received alcohol wipes and hand sanitizers as part of the toiletries. We also want to mention Thomas who was the hotel staff who drove us from the hotel to the airport on our departure. He was so cheerful and service oriented. We were so impressed with his positive attitude and pride of Lijiang. The Front Desk staff were all very friendly and helpful! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at an incredibly beautiful city! The kindness of your staff, especially Rita and Thomas, will be remembered.

  Nice hotel ruined by one person

  Hotel is connected with the intercontinental next door. You can use the gym/pool there (pretty standard) and also have breakfast at either hotel. Its about a 15-20 mins taxi ride to the train station and an extra 10 mins to the airport. Its a smaller compound but more intimate. Nicely decorated hotel in line with the old town building style. You are right next to the entrance into the old town which is super convenient. Room was large with a slider that can separate living room and sleeping area. There is someone who can literally make anything out of towels! Had a rabbit and different type of bird on our bed each day. Thank you! Breakfast was not terribly exciting given the cost of the hotel... decidedly average. Staff was courteous and helpful throughout except up on departure... unfortunately this ruined the entire stay... a real shame.

  Super nice!

  Indigo Lijiang is the first hotel I stayed in Lijiang. I booked this due to the good review and ranking on TripAdvisor(4th in Lijiang). First of all, rooms and restroom is huge, everything looks quite new but classic, only cons is the view(no view at all from my room). Upon check in, they give you the welcome drink ticket that you can enjoy at the intercontinental lobby bar next door. And the view at there is unbreakable. One thing I would like to appreciate is their front office team especially Grace, she helps us to call hospital about the COVID-19 testing process and details even I already checked out the room, she get back to me via email as I doesnt have mainland phone number. In additional, I stay at the intercontinental on the next day and found that indigo is better mainly because of the room facilities and amenities, few plugs at intercontinental is not working and there is no air conditioner. Indigo is the best choice if you are looking for a ihg hotel!

  The hotel is a series of full and half villas on a compact and lovely property at the edge of old town. Nearly all amenities are on the adjoining Intercon (pool, lounge, gym, spa) We also has breakfast over there once we discovered we could. The staff at the Indigo was as helpful as possible and our villa was quite nice, but I might consider staying at the Intercon next time if the price is comparable (and if there is room with a Mountain View available). Enjoy!
