  Perfect location with good staff

  I stayed at India awadh lucknow for one night with one of my friend. The best thing about the hotel is its location , located at centre of lucknow, at Hazratganj area. The ambience and the staff is also good. Rooms are spacio6and clean.

  straight from the history books - in a negative sense

  I am amazed at the positive reviews about the Hotel !!!, so trying to find out what are the key positives here - yes the location, very convenient from most places. The rooms are big and with the old victorian style decor feels even bigger. Now the negatives - a soulless and heartless haunted place with no one to care for us. The flush does not work, the sink overflows, the rooms smell as if they have not been aired since the Nawabs left. The wifi was not available for the whole day as they claimed there is a technical problem. they only shared a password in the evening. you go for breakfast and no one bothers to even look at you, no live counter even for eggs. Biggest challenge is no hot water after 10 AM in the morning? Overall not a nice place for a work related visit.

  Cooperative staff

  Very nice ambience and nice facilities,nice and clean atmosphere. The taste of food served here is too good, and the staff of every department is very cooperative, friendly and helpful. The location of hotel is good nearest to airport as well as bus stop.

  Good to stay

  Visited defexpo and stayed here. Hotel is fine. Bar is excellent. Food can be better.the rates were very high due to expo in lucknow but at normal rates the hotel is good value for money. Ambience of bar was the best thing.

  doesnot deserve to be in 5 star category

  Stayed their from 6th to 8th Nov 2020. Got the reservation done through makemytrip, the front desk was absolutely disinterested as it was confirmed reservation through makemytrip and whether u like or not you have no option to get refund. They will give u some shaddy room on 4th floor where you have to ask for everything like toiletries. Rooms are in rundown condition. The Bathroom shower glass door cannot stop water from flowing outside the cubicle style bathroom. The pricing of the rooms are also manipulated. Mskemytrip sold me that room for Rs 4500 per night, and published room rate and walk in rate was Rs 2300 inclusive of taxes and breakfast. So u feel u are pay excess of Rs 2200 , for the same room if you had not reserved the room. The hotel is mostly used for marriage in lawns. There are almost 8 five stars in Lucknow with new and modern amenties, hence i would recommend try them like marriot, hilton, taj, ramada, radisson etc. WE stayed for 2 night and we felt were staying in some run down old hotel. The front desk is rude, and simply no idea of hospitality.U get a feeling of Unwanted in their hotel. Clarks awadh which was the best 5 star in 1980, 1990s,and 2000, has detoriated drastically. Even its restaurants are run down now. Total waste of stay.
