    Muy buena la atención, las habitaciones y excelente el servicio de desayuno. Muy atento el personal en todos los sectores. Esta distante de todo pero el lodge se encargo de algunos traslados. Recomendable

    Utterly Disrespected

    if it was possible I was going to rate them zero. On Monday evening, 02 September 2019, I ordered a food to be delivered to my room (318) at about 20:30 and a white tall gentleman deliver the food indeed. What shocked me was how after I opened the door, he stormed past me at the door and stood in my room and greeted us. Luckily my partner had just finished dressing up. What if she was naked? Is this how you treat paying customers? With absolutely no respect? In my understanding he was supposed to stand by the door, kindly confirm my order and ask me anything he wanted to ask at the door. My privacy was rudely violated and this did not sit well with me. Is this how Indaba train its people behave? Is this the image you instructed him to paint of your lodge? What was he looking for that he couldnt ask me at the door or ring my room? Was it because I am a black man and as such always engaged in criminal activities? I have been traveling to Richards Bay every week since 2017 and have stayed in every hotel and lodge in Richards Bay, no one has ever managed to do what he did to me. Stripped me of my dignity and made me feel like I was nothing, all while I paid to be there. Even if he is the manager he has no right to invade my privacy the way he did. I travel to Richards Bay on business every week but I do not see myself staying at this hotel again.

    Burgers for Supper

    The service from friendly waiter is very good. The beer fantastic cold serve in ice cold glass. The burger is 200 gram homemade patty with bacon cheese and tomato, lettuce with avo serve with fresh cut chips and side salad.

    Terrible State , no Water

    I checked into Indaba Lodge 22/10 evening I went to shower and water cut , I called reception notify them and was told maintanance will sort it out . In the morning same issue no water called reception at 6:00 am was told it will be sorted left for work . Came back asked if it was was told yes went to my room still no water . In the morning on my day of check out I called reception 6:15 no responce till 7:00 I called and was told they have a water issue at 7:50 an intern was sent to my room to ask if I would mind to go shower in another room . I had made do with still water bottles . The manager was so nochalant in his responce when i reported to him no feedback or email from him . The hotel is in a bad state the sheets bronish greyish towels a funny brown . The aircorn unit above the bed was broken looked dangerous . Only decent thing is the restaurant staff and new menu . People pay and they get treated badly its not on

    Pay for?

    Upon arrival the Reception did not know about the booking. Spent 10 minutes waiting for them to find the voucher, after giving them a copy. Needless to say room was not ready. Spent another 15 minutes waiting for them to prep a room. Room amenities decent enough, but it smelt of damp. Light fitting also broken in bathroom. Dinner service was poor with no/little interest from staff. Breakfast worse, no food available at announced time. Most staff appear disinterested in providing service. At this price there are better establishments in RBay.
