  Free hotel room during layover

  My flight arrived late from USA and missed my connecting departure, the airline offered a complementary room for the night at Capital Tourist Hotel. I was a little skeptical after the airline customer rep explained the hotel is a thirty minute ride from the airport. He wasn't kidding about the thirty minute ride, and I expect in heavy traffic the travel time would increase substantially. Arrived at the Capital Hotel about 12:30am with busload of passengers in similar predicament, and the front desk was ready with room keys, no formal check-in required, just hand in the hotel voucher from the airline and head to the room. The room was decent, but could use some major refurbishing, with satellite television and basic amenities, and no snacks or mini-bar. Everything was in Korean language and none of the staff on duty spoke English. Wi-Fi from the fifth floor was not accessible. Bed was firm and sheets clean. Bathroom could use some attention to cleaning. If this hotel was not offered free of charge by the airline during layover, I definitely would not have stayed here.

  Not a good value.

  Check-in was easy. The location was parallel to a main road, and the immediate area was isolated. The room was not cleaned very well and as is common in Korea, the beds were hard and the pillows were not comfortable. I would not stay again nor suggest this to others.

  A little old but fantastic service

  In some of the other reviews you might see comments about this hotel needing a remodel. Its true. The hotel seems to be a mom and pop type place and has seen better days. To clarify, it just needs some paint, updated wallpaper, and cosmetic touches. On an additional note, the rooms may smell strange. Nothing gross. Think, grandparents house type smell and youll be close. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and is fully stocked with amenities. Upon arrival, I was offered choices of beer or water. All free. I was informed that the room had water bottles, a small can of soda, and a small can of juice in the fridge which was complimentary. The AC remote is in Korean but the front desk had turned the wall mounted AC unit on prior to my arrival to start cooling the room. I was shown which buttons meant on/off and how to change the temperature. For those needing to go to Osan AB the hotel will shuttle you over but it really is less than 5 minutes from the gate. Breakfast is served at 6 and is complimentary. My WiFi and internet worked just fine. Ever floor had a water cooler for refilling bottles or cups. The fitness center is not good. Dont plan to work out at the hotel. The rooms have power transformers to convert to American style plugs if you need. All in all not a bad place.

  Great service

  Comfortable beds and pillows. Service was great. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Very good breakfast buffet. Close to local shops and resturants. Close to Osan AB, it is an easy few minute walk to the main gate. Hope i get a chance to visit again.
