Sumptious dining and hot spring bathing

My Japanese friends researched a good place to meet on Izu and found this place to get the highest rating on Jalan. It's probably been around for many decades, but I never once thought it wasn't perfectly maintained. The food was really awesome, both supper and breakfast. And each room looks right out over the ocean. There are three (!) options for ofuro, including their recommended morning ofuro which opens to great views of the rising morning sun. I recommend combining this with a trip to Shimoda, which is only 18 minutes away by train.

Ocean view and the sound of waves

This hotel doesn't have gorgeous buildings or new facilities, but has great location and non-manual comfortable services. In this hotel, please relax with ocean view & the sound of waves. And you want to use private-onsen, I recommend special roomsShiosai Club. They have bathtub on balcony. For dinner, there are various seafoods such as Kinme-dai. Breakfast is Japanese buffet style, but you can eat bread and drink coffee. From Shinagawa to Izu-inatori, it takes about 2 hours by Super view Odoriko-gou.(You can use JAPAN RAIL PASS for Super view Odoriko-gou.) From Izu-inatori station to the hotel, shuttle bus available for free. (reservation required)

    Need updated

I stayed this hotel good 15yrs ago. It was great stay. So I decided to go back. Unfortunately it wasn't same as I felt before :( I'm 100% happy with staff. Their hospitality is great!! They are so helpful and polite. That's why I feel bad to leave negative comments here but I'm wishing they sorting out little problems. I know it's been 15yrs but room, corridor, especially the big bath really need refurbishment. Looks tired. I was well disappointed one of the bath filled up with soil and plants. What's going on?! And the dinner. Portion is much smaller than before. And it wasn't the greatest. Lobster was over cooked. But the view from room, bath is still wonderful!!

Excellent hotel with sunrise, sunset, hot spring, fireworks all-in-one

Excellent experience in this hotel. You can see the sunrise and sunset in hotel rooms even in the bathtub. The day we visited has fireworks and lucky draw events. This is the first time to see the fireworks in such a close distance, less than 50m. The Japanese dinner is fantastic especially the chef serving us the lobster when it's still wriggling around. So fresh!

    Excellent staff, services and food

Stayed in Seishin Room, very clean and all updated - great view facing the ocean+wave - had also enjoyed both sunset and sunrise while in onsen tub. Food quality and preparation were better than many other hotels (in Tokyo and other onsen hotels as well) - both Dinner and Breakfast Very pleasant stay with very polite and helpful staffs, we had to return our car late back in Tokyo city, asked the staff to call the rental company for us, all was taken care of in a few minutes, with little help from a translation app on my mobile phone About $800 CDN a night for a room for two, including dinner and breakfast; had once thought it was pricey (before the trip), but after enjoying it - I would honestly say: quite worth the money
