  Excellent Hotel

  I have just returned from The Hotel Impuls having been there with a group of 17. We have been skiing together for over 20 years (some even longer than that) This was one of the best Hotels we have been to and we have been to many. We cannot fault it in any way, the food was excellent and catered for the Gluten Free and Veggies amongst us. As we were a group of 17 they gave us a separate area to dine in and we were served every night by the most fantastic waiter Sebastian, he entered into our fun and nothing was any bother to him, Ed the barman was also a gem once he got used to us. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel and the Bad Hofgastein area.

  Impressive Impuls

  This is a very comfortable well appointed hotel. We stayed as part of a package. Our room was a generous size with balcony and view of the town and mountain. There was plenty of storage and lighting in the room. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no fridge so used the terrace. We had a wide selection of breakfast and good choice at dinner. Drinks were reasonably priced. All the staff were helpful and cheery especially the reception staff. Spa facilities were as you might expect at a quality hotel. Only limitations we found were that the outside pool was only open from about 3pm - disappointing for our non skier. The other is that the nearest ski lift is a short bus ride away or about a 10 minute walk away - there are lockers at the lift so the walk can easily be done in walking boots. We would happily return to this comfortable welcoming hotel.

  Highly recommend!!!

  One of the best hotels Ive stayed in during my annual ski vacation in Austria! Friendly staff, amazing food, great facilities, the ski bus is extremely close to the hotel, impeccable rooms! The ski slopes are awesome! You can ski on 2 mountains with the same ski-pass. I will for sure come back next year!

  Great Hotel, fantastic food!

  Our first time skiing abroad. The hotel was absolutely fantastic, a great room to accommodate a family of 5, very helpful staff (helped us retrieve lost property on a bus), great spa facilities. Also worth mentioning is the brilliant food. A great menu and variety of food, we've rarely eaten so well and such a variety of food (a different menu every day). A special thanks to Georgi as well in the restaurant who looked after us very well. We'll definitely be back.

  The most extraordinary hotel I have stayed in

  We have stayed in many hotels all over the Uk and the world, both individually and as a family with a four year old and a baby and this is hands down the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of stating in. The suite we stayed in, 2 connected rooms, was ideal for our extended family of 6. The decor was really nice.... clean pine and. Interesting clean lined coloured fabrics. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom both stylish and clean. The food was extraordinary, both dry fine dining with a 6 course menu every night and well prepared. The waiters were attentive, friendly and kind. To give one small example our four year old said in passing at breakfast that she wished that hot chocolate was on the menu and with no prompting at all the waitress went and made some milky hot chocolate for her. She was really thrilled. The bar bill for dinner wine was very reasonable, I even asked them to check it as it seemed too cheap! The spa facilities were clean and beautifully designed as was the gym and other facilities. The reception staff were really really wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserves to be recognised as a gem. I doubt anyone could be anything other than thrilled to stay here and we will certainly be back Mark
