  Very good structure in a central location.

  Firstly, it is important to say that we did not know the city beforehand. We planned a 20days roadtrip, and visiting the Dolomitis area was a bonus on the way from Venice to Salzburg. Our first intention was finding a place between the two cities that could give us a good rest and a key position to observe and visit the mountains. San Candido-Innichen turned out to be a pleasant and lovely small town, with a vivid main street and the magnificent dolomitis perfeclty arranged on the back. Since my italian is not always enought to express myself, it was good that almost everybody spoke german aswell. The hotel is located in a central position, with the back a few meters from the main street. They have an underground garage and a parking lot in front of the hotel building, so parking the car was not an issue. The whole hotel building is well designed and counts with a library, a fine bar in the lobby, a few tables on the outside, swimmingpool, fitnessroomm, sauna, and more things we did not have time to enjoy The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, with big bathrooms, clean and great balconis. All expected convienences are there, like minibar, emergency soap/shampoo/conditioner, heated floor on the bathroom and so on. The breakfast was very well served on a buffet (continental breakfast) and all the staff, from the reception to the lobby bar, was extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed for two nights, and could not enjoy the hotel properly, since we had to get to know the city, the lakes nearby and the dolomitis. Undoubtedly it was a great experience that I will repeat soon.

  Great hotel

  This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, for a hiking holiday, and and our five night stay this time lived up to our expectations in every respect. Very conveniently situated in the oldest market town in South Tyrol with easy access to trains and buses for day trips in the area, the hotel offers every comfort and particularly good food. The hotel is obviously extremely well run by the owning family who have an excellent and helpful team of staff. Highly recommended .

  Ideal for 3 Zinnen skiing

  We booked this as part of a ski holiday through Crystal. The hotel has exceeded all expectations. Although the main skiing area is in the next village, there is a very reliable shuttle bus at 30 min intervals on the morning to get there and from 3pm onwards to get back; the trip takes about 15 mins. The outstanding thing about this family run hotel is the food; it has truly been exceptional. There is also a small but very appropriately sized, pool and spa in the basement. I have gas a massage and the price was similar to UK. The owner takes a personal pride in the running of the hotel and this shows through to the friendly and helpful staff, from reception to bar to restaurant. As I say, we have been very pleasantly surprised and would certainly recommend this hotel.

  Lovely hotel

  Excellent hotel. We booked with Crystal to come cross-country skiing, which was pretty good. The hotel is very well cared for - every light works, the electronic keys all work, they have just taken a lot of care to make sure that everything is fine for the guests. There are interesting pictures on every wall and you get the feeling that they love this hotel. The owners are friendly and helpful, as are the staff, and the food is great. We are vegetarian and they went out of their way to give us tasty options at every meal, and the waiting staff made sure they let us know what was vegetarian. The only problem for us was that dogs were allowed, but that was Crystal's fault for not showing that when booking. Although we are allergic to dogs the standard of cleaning was so high that we did not actually have a problem. When there was incessant barking from the next room the staff took action as soon as we complained. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in and I hope to return.

  Youve come to the right place

  Family hotels can be cosy, but this one easily outshines the competition. Style, comfort, care, what else could be added?Smiles, very important in a hotel. Looking forward to every dinner, because cuisine is also part of the many temptations. Let the good times roll, with a glass of the local Greif red wine, whether you come with kids as a family, you take your pet with you, or just alone. A tremendously pleasant experience.
