  Grandísima sorpresa. Nos sentimos muy a gusto

  Buscábamos un lugar para pasar la noche en nuestra escapada desde Toscana para, al día siguiente por la mañana visitar Asís. El lugar es pequeño pero con muchísimo encanto, con una habitación informal, limpia y fantástica vista de Asís. Después del viaje en coche que tuvimos hasta llegar nos sugirieron cenar en el lugar y a fé que acertamos pues nos montaron una cena con otros clientes del lugar pero íntima al mismo tiempo, con una atención excelente por el responsable de Il Roseto: fantástico el vino de Umbría que nos ofreció, por cierto. El descanso fue excelente y lo suficientemente amplio y completo como para afrontar con éxito nuestra visita a Asís del día siguiente.

  Tight on parking and has wooden toilet seats

  We stayed here for one night while traveling around central Italy. We booked this place mainly because parking was included and it had a nice view of Assisi. We stayed in room 2, part of the main building on the ground floor. The room was nice but a bit dated in decor. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, it was a bit hard. The bathroom was clean but it could certainly use an update. I wasn't the biggest fan of the wooden toilet seat, that just seems unsanitary since it's a porous material and difficult to clean. The WiFi information was not written down anywhere and when we asked for it, the password was provided but we were never able to get it to work. On the bright side, the AC worked just fine. There isn't a main reception area, or at least it was very confusing since there was not a front desk. When we checked in, they took our passports until we were ready to check out. That was different from what we experienced anywhere else while traveling around Italy, odd. This hotel is also a restaurant and it's POPULAR. That's fine, but it can actually be a problem if you need to park your car or leave. We didn't eat at the hotel so we got back late and all the parking was completely full, people were even double parked and blocking others in. It wasn't great. Overall, I'm glad we only stayed here for one night.

  Excelente ubicacion al pie de la colina de Asis

  Posicionado al pie de la colina de Asis y con una vista increible tanto de dia como de noche. La propiedad cuenta con un jardin muy cuidado y piscina. Las habitaciones son agradables aunque los baños resultan pequeños y podrian ser mas comodos. La atencion de sus dueños es al detalle y ponen toda su energia en brindar un buen servicio. Se destaca el servicio de restaurant. La carta no es variada, pero los platos son ricos, de calidad y caseros. Estacionamiento incluido. En resumen una muy buena opcion en esta zona, altamente recomendable.

  Amazing and fun stay in Assisi!

  A group of 6 friends traveled through Italy and stayed for 3 nights at Il Roseto. We loved everything about our stay here. The view from the garden of the entire city of Assisi is spectacular both day and night! There is a pool, however we did not use it because of cooler weather. The accommodations, food, setting, and host Massimo, his wife and chef - Rosita and restaurant staff, Angela were great. We had excellent dinners and accompanying wines each night, and on our last evening we let Massimo choose our entrees. Rosita's homemade breakfasts, pastries and cakes were wonderful - such a variety of foods and beverages for breakfast and at dinner! The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Massimo also recommended his good friend Marco, a tour guide in Assisi, to lead us on a 4 hour tour of this wonderful city. Marco is very knowledgeable of Assisi's history and culture. We can't say enough of the hospitality we received at Il Roseto. We will return someday for a longer stay!

  Stunning view of Assisi at sunset.

  We did not actually stay here because we were on a day trip from Sarteano in Tuscany, but we did enjoy apertivo and dinner here before returning to Tuscany. The food and service were wonderful. We did get a tour of the guest rooms after dinner. The view from the dining room is unreal. A glowing Assisi is the back drop while you dine. Dinner could have been sawdust and it would have been wonderful, but the food and wine were great. Highly recommend!
