  Good and practical accomodation at the base of Etna

  Large and clean rooms, excellent bathroom. Hotel is strategically located in Nicolosi, base for south Etna. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast could be improved by serving also salty food - some salami and cheese. Not it was only sweet things.

  Very nice B&B

  Spent one night in this freshly refurbished B&B. We had to drive around Nicolosi quite a bit before finding the place and when we found it, it looked nothing at all as a place where you think you will spend the night. But that was about the only negative comment to give (or maybe that you have to drag your luggage one flight of stairs). We were welcomed by a genuinly friendly lady. The room was really spacey, high ceiling, all recently painted, a clean and modern bathroom. In fact we've stayed in 3* hotels that gave far less value for money. The breakfast was certainly ok, the coffee was of the best we drunk on Sicily. A pizzeria which serves fresh food at very reasonable prices is just around a corner, as is a cosy bar/bakery. A good place to stay if yiu want to visit the Etna.

  Una gran estancia

  Llegamos por la mañana al Cherubino y nos acomodaron en la "habitación marrón", una habitación grande, con sofá y una gran terraza trasera, donde pudimos cenar tranquilamente. Nos gustó mucho la decoración y aunque el baño estaba fuera de ella, no coincidimos con nadie ni tuvimos que esperar nunca. El personal fue muy amable, explicándonos qué actividades se podían hacer en el pueblo, pues era una festividad. También nos recomendaron excursiones guiadas por el Etna y las gargantas del río Alcántara. Fue una estancia muy agradable que nos hubiera gustado prolongar algún día más.

  A real pleasure...

  Wide rooms, clean and modern bathrooms, Mrs Cinzia really nice and helpful. A great breakfast with homemade cake with a fantastic flavour waking you up in the morning and a great price to value offered. Next time we visit Etna, we'll be here again.

  Very cosy place and helpful Cinzia!!

  We enjoyed our 4 night stay at il Cherubino. Central placed surrounded with good restaurants. B&B was clean and had spacious rooms. We had a private bathroom. Breakfast was good and Cinzia was very helpful. Very satisfied!
