    Could be much better

First of all pictures posted for this hotel are not puctures of it, but hotel next to named Ikos. Huge expensive complex. Sithonia village is very old complex of bungalows with nice park in the middle of them. There is no swimming pool, no fitness center etc. So admins should really change it. Rooms: ok. Old furniture but clean and functional, except for beds - impossible to sleep on that mattrasses. I was wakeing up 10 times during the night because my hips and my back were killing me (and i am 30 years old, so i have no problems with it). You have refrigerator and TV in room, also air conditioner that is free to use (not extra paid). Every room has balcony where you can put wet towels from beach, with table and two chairs. Big plus for it. Bed linen changed after 3 days. Bathroom: i would say - sad :( To be completely honest it's clean, but so old that everything in it is yellow and gray, including towels. It's our fifth day here and they still haven't change towels. Food: every single morning breakfast is the same- bread, cheese, ham (if you come after 9h you won't find it), eggs, marmelade and lot of salades (tomato, cucamber, paprika, two olive types). Dinner, poor, very poor. Cooked vegetables with no spices (bean, rice, carrot), musaka (really good) and potato. Beach: it is right next to the beach but everybody who has any other option will not spend day there. This us Greece, beautiful beaches are on every step, this one un Gerakini is just acceptable. Just 5 km from there is place Psakoudia with great beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas. Not crowded beach, you can visit it any part of the day, you'll always find sunbed. Price is 3 eur per sunbed, but if you buy coffee than it's free. Also free and excellant Wi-fi on this beach. Gerakini: village. Several really nice and cozy reastaurants with correct prices, nothing else to do. Summary: not a nightmare, but i wouldn't recommend it. There is so many beautiful places in Greece, don't waste your time here.

    The worst place ever.

the worst place I've ever been, we went out early one day. The food was poor, no taste, no even dinner water. Never again, do not deserve the money as little as they can!THe bathroom smells like a frogs.Do not even think about it!Seriously!

    PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!

The sewer stench on the entire property was awful and you can only hope for a favourable wind that will temporarily take it elsewhere. We specifically booked a ground floor room and were given floor room instead because they simply don't care(first come first served system). The room had an air conditioner with insufficient coolant that was not cooling the room at all and the refrigerator as well. The rooms have no mosquito protection whatsoever and tiger mosquitos are found in abundance on the property, at least they could have installed cheap windows and door nets because each room has at least 20 mosquitos waiting by and entire property is infested. The bathroom in all rooms doesn't have any soap nor shampoo and the towels can be missing so it is best to bring your own. The food was awful, not eatable and they don't even give you water so be prepared to pay for all your meals in the few nearby taverns. The beach is really on 50 meters from the hotel however this hotel has sunbeds only for 15 people(always taken) and you can get an umbrella on reception with 10 EUR deposit however the umbrella is extremely small and offers no sun protection and is sold new for 7.5 EUR in a supermarket that is 1 km away. The hotel beach is very small and the water is with disgusting sea floor plants after the first 5 meters. The water is knees shallow in the first 50 meters so be prepared to drive to a better beach each day. The hotel has internet only at reception, be prepared to stand in front of the little reception house together with at least 10 other people searching for wifi. Please don't be fooled by the hotel photos that are published here because they are fake and are of a near by five star luxury hotel named IKOS OLIVIA. Sithonia Vilage Hotel is a property with bungalows, each with four rooms. Instead of staying at the Vilage Hotel in Gerakini please consider going to a near by Nikiti that has much better offering, big markets, pharmacies, nice beach. Visiting Lagonisi beach near Nikiti is a must at Sithonia 630 78 because it is a small paradise in comparison.

    Good budget hotel

I spent 4 days in the hotel, first I was surprised that we had breakfast&dinner included in the price, which is almost the price of apartments in chalkidiki (around 70) . The food is not an octopus but is tasty, regular hotel food. The rooms are ok. There is a nice park between bungalows/buildings and the beach is almost private with sunbeds and umbrellas for free. I think it is a great value, for the money
