  Great stay

  My partner and I stayed here for just one night as we were making our way from Launceston to Strahan. The room we had was massive! King bed and double shower. Not really a fan of the mattress though. It felt like a silicon based memory foam mattress. Soft, hot and sweaty. Everything else was fine. Great service from the reception staff. Oh, one thing to note is they have NO lift. So if you cant do stairs or dont want to drag all you suitcases up a flight of stairs to your room maybe chose somewhere else. Otherwise give it a go. Great location too.

  Best accommodation in Burnie

  Having just had a few nights here and having stayed elsewhere this must be the best accommodation in Burnie. Well positioned in the city centre it has spacious rooms well fitted out with all modern conveniences. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only warning is of the staff in the ground floor restaurant who seem to be at war with the hotel guests and are best avoided as far as possible!

  Creature comforts on a big scale!

  This trendy hotel combines spaciousness and comfort. A heritage building in the heart of Burnie, dont expect old style furnishings etc, its sleek, clean and comfortable. Our room ( Room #8) has a king bed, large lounge area and double sized bathroom. A little stark but roomy so would suit a longer stay where you dont feel hemmed in. Gets warm in the room during the day but there is a fan and you can open windows whilst maintaining privacy with blinds. Night time is cozy on the latex bed, so if you are a restless sleeper, your sleeping partner wont feel a thing!! Brekky is basic but plenty of cereal choice and generous offerings of yoghurt, milk, teas etc. Check-in process a bit different but friendly. No lift, stairs only, but nicely carpeted stairs make for easy egress. Great location, walking to seafront.

  Very nice place to stay

  Laura made us feel very welcome when we arrived and there was parking for us. Lovely big room and a great place to stay. Very clean and a great location to see the penguins at night. Would definitely recommend this place.

  Seems to be the best option in Burnie

  Spacious renovated rooms, very comfortable beds and central location. Room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Access in and out is a bit quirky, but overall a solid option should you be staying in Burnie.
