  We enjoyed, but... there are some minuses

  I stayed there with my wife and little daughter for 3 days. We liked the hotel, firstly the pool area. The first disapointment was fact, that the pool is open for public and was visited by some school class with wild 14-16 years old youngs withnout discipline... Second disapointment was chargable internet... The food is ok, but dont wait any miracle :)

  Perfect trip

  The hotel is beautifully situated on top of a hill and next to a local train station. The view is breath-taking. The buffet (breakfast and lunch) is varied, healthy and very tasty. Staff was very helpful and polite. The pool is open to the public and not for serious swimming though.

  Surprisingly fantastic sleep

  Chlidren loved it there absolutely and that was the main point of course:-) Even I personally was more than satisfied with the quality of the sleep: the bed (both matress and bedding) was a 5*quality and the soundproofing was almost incredible for the family hotel with such crowds of kids everywhere around! A lot of food to choose from, breakfast was fantastic, dinner was rather average. Nice swimming area though the cleanlinness might be better. And then the view from the top of the hill where the hotel area is situated - thats something to die for. The nice suprising detail: the hotel has its own (local) train station:-)

  Nice Hotel

  The hotel is very big with spacious rooms. Breakfast is good and provides something for everybody. Restaurants are very good. Not so good is internet speed (after 5 pm almost not working). Room cleaning is ok but not the best. Laundry service is not available.

  Great for families with children

  I booked just this hotel because I wanted to have a nice place with a lot of entertainment for our daughter. I couldn´t have chosen a better place for this. The outside playground was just under our windows, there are several children corners open every day and the best were the children clubs devided by age (children 0-3 years and another one for the children 3+), which had limited opening hours, but it was ok. I also liked the option of a ski school in summer for the little ones. Also we enjoyed the minidisco with the animators. Our little princess had a lot of fun eventhough she did not understand a word in german. We did not eat in the hotel, eventhough there were vegan options, but I found 12 eur for b/fast per person per night too much, we prefer self catering anyway. That is why I found great, that the hotel offers apartments with a kitchen. The dissapointment was, that there was no microwave, the water flow in the kitchen was so poor that we had to wash the dishes in the bathroom and the equipment was really outdated. A teflon frying pan would solve the last problem. The fridge with the mini deepfreezer was great for storing icecream! The huge dissapointment was the internet connection. Very poor connection made the internet almost unusable. On the other hand the big plus is the aquaworld, where there are 2 tobogans, 2 pools (1 with artifical waves for a few minutes every hour) and a little place for the smallest children, where they can play with a lot of toys. The view from the hotel is astonishing. If you come by car I recommend you to visit the amusement park in Plohn. Despite the problems we faced I would visit this hotel again, maybe in winter the next time.
