  Amazing!

  Just getting ready to pack up and leave after staying for 2 nights and felt the need to let everyone know what an amazing place this is. Everything about this place is top notch, from the beautifuly appointed rooms to the amazing free breakfast......best breakfast I have had in a hotel, hands down. I can't forget the staff as well, so attentive. I can't believe we didn't find this place sooner. We will definitely be staying here every time we are in London.

  Quiet elegance

  My husband and I came here for a delayed anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint! Since we booked fairly last minute, we couldnt get spa services, but managed dinner reservations for both nights. They have converted rooms used previously for sitting rooms into dining areas to meet the Covid distancing requirements. Breakfast is included (selection of eggs, bagel and lox, homemade granola and yogurt) and was as sumptuous as the dinners. Every staff member was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

  Incredible Idlewyld Inn !!!

  Fantastic stay at Idlewyld Inn!!! Their attention to detail is amazing including the steps they've taken to ensure a safe environment during these difficult C-19 times. This charming Inn & its grounds are beautiful!!!. The rooms are inviting!!!. The service is outstanding!!!. The food exceptional!!!. This was our first visit but we plan to return soon. Incredibly flawless experience!!!

  Anniversary stay

  Found the Idlewylde by chance when searching for a spot for our 8th Anniversary...well, let's just say the Idlewylde scored big time!! Beautifully cared for old manor home with history, fabulous food, staff that obviously care and boy are they serious about safety during this time...highly recommend to anyone searching for a great getaway ..

  Another Excellent Ontario's Finest Hotel

  This hotel was selected out of several options to celebrate another E and E mini getaway. It is part of the chain of Ontario's Finest Hotels and after staying at the amazing Sterling Inn and Spa in Niagara Falls (another Ontario's Finest Hotel), it was an easy decision to try this hotel. Our initial reservation consisted of the Queen Bed Courtyard Suite. But upon arriving and viewing the rom we decided to change to a King size suite. The receptionist was very accommodating and showed us 3 different rooms. We settled on the top floor King and Front Balcony suite. We were not disappointed and loved the comfortable bed, great pillows and room set up. The shower was very nice with great heat and water pressure. Our only regret was not being able to spend time on the balcony overlooking their beautiful front entrance area. The room comes with a complimentary breakfast in the morning and you can have room service (for a surcharge) or dine in the main level. We dine in the main level and enjoyed a wonderful full breakfast with coffee / tea, choice of juice, eggs done anyway you prefer, choice of meats, hash browns and toast. The receptionists were all fantastic, friendly and helpful. They helped us with recommendations for shopping, restaurants and anything we needed for the room. They went above and beyond and made our stay fantastic. This is not your basic cookie cutter hotel. The Idlewyld Inn and Spa boasts both class, charm and comfort.
