  Our dream wedding and mini vacay were here!! Highly recommend!

  We had our wedding on 9/25/2020 here and it was absolutely magical!! The venue and staff, especially the coordinators Kira and Alyssa were such a dream to work with and they all worked so hard to make our dream wedding come true. They were so flexible and easy with us when we needed to scale back our numbers to just family due to Covid and in scheduling a second event (a larger reception) for us next year when the rest of our friends can attend. Everyone who was there with us are still talking about how amazing and beautiful the wedding was! We cannot wait to come back in June, and probably every year after! Thanks ICONA!!!!

  Wonderful short stay

  This review is long overdue. This was our first time to Diamond Beach but not to Icona hotels. It was such a wonderful experience we extended our short stay by a day. We took this trip in the beginning of the summer. Outdoor dining had not yet opened in NJ. Even the pool area was closed. The staff was great during this time. They have been through such a hardship losing the majority of dining and bar service with the added duties of heighten cleaning standards. In particular I would like to call out the restaurant staff who did an amazing job when we ordered a family bundle meal for bbq night. It was perfect for our family of five. Something for everyone and so much food. Hand delivered to our room with a high chair. Excellent food and excellent service. I would love if the hotel continued these type of family bundle takeouts even post COVID. Its great for families that may have younger ones that cant make it through a dining experience out after a day at the beach. The only hiccup, which barely was one because the hotel rectified the problem quickly was that housekeeping thought we were checking out and cleared out the fridge of food we had for lunch. Not a problem though, the hotel manager had us lunch ordered and brought out to the beach for us in no time. We will 100% return to diamond beach. Its a beautiful clean beach and a lovely hotel.

  Beautiful Wedding Weekend

  My husband and I were so happy to host my daughter and her new husband's wedding at ICONA. Her dream was to have a beach wedding. ICONA hit the mark in every way. The care and detail put forth by Kira and Alyssa made for a beautiful wedding weekend. Throughout the planning process, we had many general questions and specific questions about the wedding ceremony and reception itself, and about the safety of our guests. Kira and Alyssa were able to help us in every way. They were extremely flexible and understanding . From our arrival on Thursday, through the after wedding breakfast on Saturday, Kira and her staff made us feel like we were the most important guests ever. We are still hearing rave reviews from family and friends about the wedding; from the delicious food and gracious service, to the beautiful location and once in a lifetime experience.   Wedding

  My husband and I had our wedding at the Icona on September 26th! It was the most beautiful and magical day! All of our guests continue to rave about the food, scenery, and hospitality provided by Kira, Alyssa, and their staff. Kira and Alyssa were so helpful and their attention to detail was spot on! They truly made our dream beach wedding come true! When it comes to beach weddings , the Icona is second to none without question! The brunch the next day was put together so nicely and decorated perfectly, using our decorations from the wedding! Again our guests raved about the delicious breakfast buffet! We will remember this day forever thanks to Kira, Alyssa, and the Icona staff!

  Sweet oasis during a pandemic

  My husband and I spent our honeymoon week at Diamond Beach. The hotel staff delivered first-class customer service. The suite was clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed. A small cooking area, pots and pans, utensils and more. Food was delivered to the room from the restaurant since it was closed for indoor dining due to the pandemic. I love that the beach is on site, just a short walk from the hotel. There was plenty of seating and the hotel supplied everything we needed for our days on the private beach. The hotel attendants set up your chairs, umbrellas and provide towels if you need them. Their attentiveness was a large part of what made my stay memorable. We're looking forward to visiting again next year.
