  excellent place and location

  The hotel is a small three floor building located in the old part of city of Baku. There is some room near (very near) the stairs and some other a bit far from that. If you are too sensitive about the noise, so it is better to make sure you get a room not near the stairs. Anyway, the hotel is small and cozy so there is not that much of traffic. The level of cleanliness of the room and bathtub was great and the staff was very helpful, kind and cared a lot. For breakfast, it is served in a small room, and it is all self service. You should help yourself, and to be honest, I expected a bit more interesting breakfast. The neighborhood was very old, beautiful, clean, and good access to the metro, taxi, and easy walking to the city center. Generally I enjoyed staying in this hotel and walking around the neighborhood.

  Location! Location! Location!

  Icheri Sheher Hotel is situated in the Old City of Baku near the Palace. With its superb location, it is wonderful to return to this hotel after visiting the impressive sites and wandering around the historic precinct. Easy access to the Metro is yet another benefit. The airconditioned room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and hot shower. The simple breakfast was enough to sustain us for the day. English speaking staff were wonderful - friendly but professional, polite and always very helpful. We highly recommend Icheri Sheher Hotel!

  Great location

  It's a good budget hotel in a great location right inside the Icheri Sheher (old city) walls. Though the hotel claims to be a 4-star property, I would say it's just a budget hotel with a great value for the price. But looks like it's common with the star ratings in Baku. Interior of the room and bathroom was good, the view from our room was amazing. I ordered the airport transfer service for USD 25 each way which is great for 4:30 am and elimina Cons: - staff not trained: The night receptionist asked me if I had a couple of cigarettes upon check in :-) - mini-bar is empty - breakfast is very poor and food is not added when run out

  Best holiday in Baku

  The hotel location is the best in heart of old city 20 meters to metro and every atrractions and main streets in i walked just 5 min max hotel has a restaurant and room service Panorama from Muse cafe is very beatiful staff is helping you such us your best friend

  Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff and a Wi-Fi problem

  Really great location (in Old Town, close to the metro station). pretty good value for money and really friendly and helpful staff. I came on a very early morning flight, a receptionist let me have some tea and use bathroom. Later on, he arranged me a bit earlier (at 10:30 AM) check-in, no charge. The room had a spectacular view over city walls, square behind them and the Flame Towers. It's amazing how quiet the room was, having in mind that it was right under the café. On the other hand, the room was a bit run-down, and the bedding had some stains, even though it smelled freshly washed. However, the only thing that really bothered me was very bad Wi-Fi, most of the time in whole hotel. They did try to fix it while I was there, but failed. Two bottles of water each days was a nice touch.Breakfast was neither the worst nor the best I had.
