  Perfectly located

  We stayed at Hotel Icaro for two nights in October and enjoyed absolutely beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is perfectly located for hikes through the Alpe di Suisi area. We were able to walk out the door and start hiking, although there are also buses and lifts available to increase the distance you can go. We got snow the second evening we were there, and the blue skies and snow-topped mountains when we awoke that morning were gorgeous. We paid for the half-board dinner, which was a good idea given that we'd have had to drive a fair distance to eat elsewhere. The food was fairly gourmet, but dinner did take a long time to serve and eat. It felt quite fancy. We also enjoyed the hotel amenities, including an indoor pool, outdoor hut tub, and saunas. Even the shower in our room was one of our favorites of our trip, with amazing water pressure and heat that felt good after a day out hiking. We would definitely love to return here!

  Fantastic

  When you are booked here you get a permit that allows you to drive right up on a private road. It's location and view is fantastic. The staff are all very helpful and in the restaurant very attentive. Checkin was fast. They give you bus passes that you can use to take buses around the area. If you use the cable car you get a discount too. The room was good size, clean and comfortable. Toiletries are provided but there is no kettle, coffee or tea facilities, no fridge; just a bottle of water. The tv has no English channels. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner was oh so sumptuous. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though we didn't use their spa and took only a short hike. We went there just to relax and take picture and so stayed in the room most of the time. Would have loved to have English channels on Tv like CNN or BBC.

  Fantastisk location

  Hotel Icaro has a beautiful location with a panoramic view on the Dolomites and the pasture. The hotel is very nice with spacious rooms, a friendly staff and the food was excelent. This was our second stay at Hotel Icaro and we hope to come back another time!

  Best hotel of our Italian Stay

  I really loved this hotel! Had a nice hot tub opened 7-7. A sauna, wonderful views of the mountain. Meals were delicious! Wish I could have stayed longer! Beautiful views everywhere, was like heaven on earth! Only wish there wasn't construction nearby, but it is no fault of the hotel at all. (Looked like a lift was being built, on the left side of the hotel).

  Directly on the ski slopes! In full sun! Magic and total silence and incredible starry skies!

  Very good Hotel directly on the slopes. New and very comfortable rooms. The spa and the splendid wooden sauna are also beautiful. If you are looking for absolute silence, the most beautiful panorama and mountain sports life, you are in the right place! Restaurant for lunch or for an aperitif. In the evening, dinner with a refined menu and a well-assorted breakfast. Excellent wine cellar. Very nice and helpful staff.
