  A great place to stay in Ibusuki

  The hotel was nice, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, and the view of the ocean from the on patio onsen in our room was fantastic. Food was good and varied and they were excellent about my food allergies. The only qualms we could even imagine having was the fact that while there was a small sheet in english explaining some of the functions of the things in the room, many things like the heating and cooling were only in Japanese, much to the frustration of my wife, (I could read it and use it fine) They did a beautiful set of lights in the sand on the beach at night.

  relaxing stay

  nice dining experience welcoming staff nice view room (sea view) + super huge room very comfortable with our private hot spring in room lots of different hot spring selection in the hotel enjoyable stay easy to access the beach area free parking available

  Not a traditional Japan Hotspring Hotel

  The hotel is clean, nice, spacious but not traditional Japanese and the hotel management is not thoughtful to the guests! 1) they only provided 1 key for our room. Even though we asked for 2 keys, they rejected us! It caused lots of inconvenience. My husband and I went to try the public bath, as men and women were in different bath, whoever of us finished early have to wait for the other outside the bath. If they can provide 2 keys and each of us can carry one key with us, we can stay relaxed in the room while waiting for the other! 2) we have a private hot spring in our room however the water is not hot enough! 3). The dinner and breakfast were so so though there were many courses. Food were too salty and over-marinated! 4) We have tried many very good hotspring before. The facilities and amenities of this one were so so. Instead of having a pile of clean bath towels in the changing room for the guests use, they only provided two in the guest rooms and you have to carry it to the public bath! 5) There were no personal concierge for the rooms and the staff wont even bother to bring you to the room to explain their facilities! Luckily we have been to the hotspring hotel before but if it was our first time there we wouldnt know what to do with the Japanese kimono in our wardrobe. 6) the bathroom in our room is outdoor! It is just next to our personal open air hotspring! It would be cold to take a bath if you are not using the hotspring! The water in our hotspring turned cold in the morning, although we can adjust the temperature, it took us more than an hour! I have the habit of washing my hair in the morning and I wouldnt want to go to the public bath, it was freezing when I washed my hair! 7). In the morning there were construction work on the beach where our room is facing. The workers there must be able to see us when we used our personal hotspring! As a conclusion, this hot spring hotel is only so so!

  Room with private onsen

  We've booked a room with private outdoor onsen, with separate bathroom, living room and bedroom. There's even a mini bar with little juice and alcohol which are free for you to consume. Enjoying the onsen facing the sea is so relaxing. The dinner and breakfast provided are superb too.

  Spent a night for our wedding anniversary

  A nice Japanese room with open air onsen. It carries good ocean view. Service is excellent. They offer butler-like service and we were served by a young girl who took good care of us including room, dinner and breakfast. They also provide free parking. The meal is excellent, delicious, traditional and well served course by course. Highly recommend this hotel and will sure return with our families. Only one suggestion. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. It would be sweet and memorable if the hotel can do a little treat.
