  Es imprescindible que se pueda usar el wifi gratis en el hotel, como en todo el continente europeo.Los viajes de negocios son hoy en dia muy habituales y necesitamos este servicio que es gratis para el hotel, que tambien sea gratuito para los huespedes.

  Muy bueno!

  Estubimos tres noches y es un excelente hotel. Relación calidad precio excepcional. Buena la habitación, cama confortable y el baño muy funcional. Excelente el desayuno. Hemos cenado una noche. Muy buena la cena. El wifi gratis. El personal atento y eficiente. El hotel tiene un buen parking. Eso sí hay que tener coche, el hotel está un poco apartado del centro de la ciudad. Magnífico este Ibis!

  Muy bien

  Habitación grande, con cama de matrimonio y sillón cama. La habitación estaba muy bien, sin moqueta, y limpia. El baño grande, pero se les olvidó ponernos las toallas de mano. Desayuno variado y muy rico. Como en todos los Ibis con horario de desayuno ampliado.

  Worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel

  Arrived and tried to check in after a 5 hour drive from London which at the time is in tier 2. Got asked where wed come from, why we were in Wales, and whether we were key workers. Got told in no uncertain terms that unless we were key workers, we werent allowed to stay at the hotel. I then got shown some blurb on a screen explaining this which apparently had been emailed to me. (It hadnt) Id also checked the Welsh government website before travelling so I was fairly confident we were allowed to stay, and explained this, but no - we werent. It was nearly 9pm, it was cold and dark, and we walked back to our car nearly in tears thinking wed have to sleep in the car and risk freezing or driving all the way back home. I then went onto booking.com and checked and the rules shed stated were in place during the England lockdown, which had ended on Dec 2nd. We phoned booking.com to check, and also another hotel. Both confirmed that and told us they shouldnt have turned us away. Thankfully, the other hotel we phoned were extremely welcoming and we had a wonderful stay there instead. So, why had we been turned away at this hotel? Was it an honest mistake? Do the staff literally not know the current guidelines for being able to stay overnight at a hotel? Interesting that for a hotel so set on the rules, the receptionist I spoke to wasnt wearing her mask correctly and the other man, stood behind her with his arms crossed staring at us, wasnt wearing one at all. Perhaps theyre not keen on same sex couples staying at their hotel? Either way, I wont be recommending Ibis to anyone and wont be staying at one again.

  Nice relaxing stay and excellent customer service.

  Used Ibis Swansea as a base for two nights whilst working in the area. The check in was efficient and the reception staff were friendly. They did ask to see proof that I was there for work and to show that I was a key worker but they are only doing their job. I've seen other reviews on hotels about people complaining of this but in current circumstances they have to cover their backs. That aside the room was spacious with plenty of storage and a decent size desk next to the window. The beds are comfy and a good nights sleep is guaranteed. The internet connection is free and super fast and the TV even hooks up to Youtube. The staff here are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much for them even in the current circumstances they will do what they can to help. Really enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend it.
