  What a dump

  Stay away from this hotel. It was so gross. It is not the proper place to take students on a tour. Rooms smelled horrible like something was dying in the walls, outlets didn't work, there was sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. The hotel overbooked rooms. At 3:30 in the morning people were walking into other people's rooms.

  Clean and neat

  This hotel like most others in Paris are oldish, but its clean, neat and has very friendly staff. Breakfast is typically French, and does not really catter for the continental breakfast market. Rooms have cable TV, but not many channels in English. There is parking behind and in the basement. The Metro is just over a km away...not many shops in the neighbourhood

  Nothing to write home about

  Stayed there a few weeks ago, I had three rooms booked for the family (two nights), each room looked sader than the other. It is in bad need of a make over. There were bus loads of far eastern tourists, who were up at the crack of dawn ( 5am) talking and shouting. The prices are quit high for what the hotel has to offer, and the bar only serves soft drinks. never again

  Second stay less good

  I stayed in this hotel for the second time and it was a bit disappointing I asked for a quiet room - not facing the main road - and got exactly what I did not want. Room 116 directly above the main entrance and heavy traffic on two roads I did not complain because noise was acceptable as long as the window was closed. Unfortunately the thermostat of the heating system did not work so the room started to overheat. Finally at 1am I went down to reception. The solution was to completely shut down the ventilation system in the room and open the window for a while - police cars with sirens passing by every now and then. My room had a handicapped bathroom no shower curtain and the tiles on the floor became very slippery with a mixture of water and soap on them. The shower head was loose and faced the walls without being supported. Room was clean and breakfast was good. Friendly staff. They should look after their rooms better to avoid the unnessasary things I had to experience. I only gave two out of five points because the main purpose of a hotel should be to offer a good sleep which I could enjoy only partially this time
