  Céntrico y buen precio

  Hotel situado en el centro de la ciudad con un precio interesante. La única pega es que a partir de las 22:00 no hay nadie en la recepción y que no dispone de restaurante propio, lo cual obliga a salir al exterior.

  Joyless experience!

  We stayed one night in this hotel en route to Provence. Whilst aware that we are in the midst of a pandemic and that precautions must be observed the experience was more like a hospital appointment than a recreational stay. During this trip we have stayed in other Ibis hotels and independents and I have to say this was taking the situation to a ridiculous level. We were barked at on entry by an over-officious receptionist who treated us like lepers rather than guests. We had spent the previous evening at Ibis Syles at Calais where all hygiene precautions [mask wearing, sanitisers at all public touch point etc] were observed but the vibe was still that of a hotel and not a centre for infectious diseases! The hotel room and bathroom were very tired and in desperate need of an update. The breakfast experience was the worst ever. We were each issued with a pathetic brown bag containing one small bread roll and a pastry. My partner had to go and ask at the desk for a bowl of cereal! Ibis Styles breakfasts are usually great and this was a complete rip off in our opinion using the Covid situation as an excuse to ration guests and make them feel uncomfortable if they asked for anything other than the meagre ration. The 'Covid' breakfast situation was handled so much better by other hotels. Obviously it was the choice of the management of this particular hotel to err on the side of caution, to protect their staff and guests, but honestly guys if you'd issued us with Hazmat suits and weapons grade breathing equipment I wouldn't have been surprised. Pandemic aside - we have stayed at many Ibis hotels over the years and this was the poorest.

  thank you to the fantastic staff

  we landed at the ibis hotel after our car broke down on the nearby motorway. I want to write this review to thank the FANTASTIC staff for all their help. Especially the manager who v nicely welcomed us on the 14/07/20 and supported us to find practical solutions, and to Megane who so generously let me use the hotel phone all morning the day after so I could organise our repatriation. Beds are v comfortable, shower is great, small but adequate room, all that we needed to rest and recover from our misadventure

  An unpleasant experience.

  I'm writing in English in order to inform as many unsuspecting potential customers as possible. I booked on Booking.com a room for two people for just one night on a transfer trip on July 21, 2020, at the price of 92 euros. Of course, I wasn't expecting a suite, but since Ibis has a super cheap Budget section I expected a decent room, as one could imagine from the description on the Booking website. Apart of a guy at the reception who could be used advantageously in some barracks, the room had a size - bathroom included - which I believe to be less than 9 square meters. Had it been rented to a single person - with a single bed for 50 euros, it could have been acceptable, maybe. I find the situation unworthy of a Hotel chain that has after all a good name, and honestly the retrospective apologies I read in response to the reviews on Tripadvisor are beyond decency. There is only an advantage point, the location, but it is not enough. I strongly advise my fellows voyagers against choosing this specific establishment.

  Needs renovation

  This hotel for me is not at all in the level of Ibis Style compared to other ibis style hotel we stayed. This is rather budget hotel style. Stuff were very nice and friendly but building and rooms are old and run down. Eg. wall paper is fallen off.. toilet door does not shut properly... Needs serious renovation.
