  Moderno y funcional hotel de la cadena Ibis.

  Este hotel, situado cerca del río y de la Catedral, destaca por su buen servicio de tres estrellas, así como por unas instalaciones limpias y bien mantenidas. El personal tiene un trato agradable con el cliente.

  Great experience

  I do not often write reviews on hotels, but this one makes for an exception. I have been helped by the friendly staff so nicely that I can't recommend them enough. First, for their work to write a letter of invitation to apply for a visum. They did not ask for any fee to write the letter, although it would have been acceptable if they had asked for a fee. Correspondence was swift and kind. And now with the corona crisis, I asked if a cost-free cancellation is possible. Although the booking regulations stated otherwise, the hotel has agreed to cancel free of cost. Really remarkable. I hope to visit Kaliningrad next year and, if so, I will make sure to book Ibis Kaliningrad Center. They are an example for all Ibis hotels around the world. Thanks guys for making things easy and pleasant for your guests!

  Nice location

  First, the location is nice, close to museum of ocean and ships-museums, also it is easy to get to the cathedral and park, simply across the bridge. Second, the staff is friendly and try their best. Third, the room itself was clean and was cleaned properly every day. However, we could hear all our neighbors from all the rooms, whether horizontal or vertical. Lastly, the breakfasts were quite poor, though it is possible to find various meals for every day, such as vegetables, eggs, porridge, fruits. However, this breakfast does not cost it's money. Anyway, I have a positive attitude to this Ibis.

  Not bad but without fresh air

  The hotel is situated near the high traffic avrnue. There are few other hotels around. The building of the hotel is modern. We stayed 4 nights there and had a room with twin beds. All such rooms are on first floor so if you'd like higher location you have to book double room. Our room was classical ibis room. There were small fridge, safe-box and set of slippers. The rooms with odd number have window to the construction area, other - to Moskovskiy av. Nevertheless all construction works are finished till 8 p.m. The real problem of the hotel is only one but huge. There isn't air-conditionning system but inner-ventilation system which doesn't work properly. If the weather is hot it becomes real problem. We tried to set our ventilation system but even on maximum had the weaker flow of air. So we had to open the window but there are many mosquitos in Kaliningrad and the window can't be opened wide. Why the staff of the hotel cannot set the ventilation system couldn't understand.
