  Not much to offer

  Now Istanbul airport has moved this hotel is out of date and has nothing to offer. Charmless and sterile, on a busy road, no decent restaurants nearby and about 130 TL in a taxi from the new airport I wonder how these old airport hotels will survive. Room itself was ok. Air con was noisy and you cant open the window at night due to traffic noise. Wifi dropped in and out. The worst part was the cigarette smoke. Even in a non smoking room lots of smoke seemed to intrude through the bathroom ventilation system. It was terrible.

  ibis standard

  In the last months i just stayed in this hotel when i visited Istanbul because of either ibis standard or warm atmosphere. last time when i just arrived in the midnight with my family, our check in did not satisfy us because the keys were not ready (although I already did on-line check in a day before) and took a little time. Also our rooms were for smokers with bad smell for us and I did complain this situation in the morning and asked for changing our rooms. front desk manager "Erdic" was so kind and very friendly and tried to compensate our bad feeling of last night arrival and check in and changed our rooms to non-smoking and apologized several times for the inconveniences. After that all was fine and we did enjoy staying there and its very good breakfast ! This hotel is very close to Mall of Istanbul if you like shopping with good access from New Istanbul Airport by direct shuttle bus to Halkaly Meydan.

  Good budget hotel

  Everything was perfect. It is a very good budget hotel. Staff is friendly, breakfast was really very good. I stayed for 3 nights and they clean our room every single day. The only downfall is the location. There is no direct metro or bus going to the city. Public transport is not reliable. My suggestion is to take a cab and go to the nearest metro station and catch a metro towards the city. Rest of things we're perfect. Special thanks to Mr Furkan, Ms Tugce and Mr Kemal.

  Bad experience, one of the staff was extremely rude to us.

  Overall the stay was quiet ok, small rooms but one could manage but we were fooled by one of the employees of this hotel, never ever fall in the trap of these employees when they suggest you a tour package. Erdinç Izer at the reception of Ibis West was one such person who fooled us with a tour package and gave us exactly the opposite of it. We were suppose to get our personal car for the tour package, he gave us a pathetic tour with Azure Tour Agency, which we never asked for. Above all, Erdinc was rude and very rude when we came back, he started shouting at us when we complained about the tour, in his words "what can i do, its late now, i can't do anything if your day is wasted" this is how he replied, Azure tour driver was talking on phone while driving on a hill top, we were not taken to the spots for which we gave the money, the guide was pathetic and worse, such a bad tour Erdinc provided us and wanted to shut the matter by saying, "what can i do" extremely bad experience, guys never ever book a tour with Ibis west hotel, book your tour yourself after checking the reviews because Ibis west will provide you with a pathetic tour in which the hotel can earn by making lives of the tourist hell. We were a group of 10 people and all suffered with the pathetic service by Erdinc ... at last after yelling at us for about an hour he agreed to give us a 500 Lira discount as if he was doing some favour on us. Really bad and unprofessional behaviour, if by mistake Ibis gave us the wrong tour they should have apologised and should have returned our money back but ..instead of this Erdinc planned to shout at us and say "i can't do anything in this" Above all, next day, Erdinc agreed to call the tour package person to talk, but to our surprise when we went to the reception the next day, Erdinc has already left and the tour package person didn't show up at all ... this is the kind of response we got from Ibis West hotel .. do not ever fall in their trap ... we are really not happy at all ... attaching pictures of Erdinc, watch out for this person in Ibis west .. whatever happens to you ..he might say "what can i do in this, i can't do anything"

  Perfect service

  Special thanks to mr mehmet and ugur for good service. Clean and comfortable room. Location is perfect there is free car parking for hotel guests. Good breakfast.quick check in. And helpful staff it was perfect experience.
