  Practical for a short visit in Dongguan

  Functional, clean and good location... Rooms are well function and clean. Breakfast/Restaurant is too chinese. Staff are very helpful, even though they have limited english Location is perfect. Good access to the bar street and qifeng park. All in all, we are satisfied in our stay and we will definitely recommend this hotel our friends.

  Conveniently located and nice

  The hotel is located on the main road in between two metro stations - despite that it was easy to reach without a car. Nightlife and food areas of Dongcheng are all walking distance away, if not exactly next door. As my train from Changsha was arriving early, I came to hotel at 10am, but nevertheless was checked in promptly, check out at 1pm (I had my flight only at night) wasn't a problem as well. There's a nice-to-walk and large Qifeng park on the other side of the road closer to the metro station. The hotel itself was of the standard which could be expected from Ibis, nice, clean and complete. Laundry room (self-service) is available, for 7-10 RMB depending on the program chosen - nice, but not so easy to operate as everything is in Chinese. But well, it's a common problem for a foreigner in China and Google Translate does help. Unlike elsewhere I've been in mainland China, however, Facebook worked with their Wi-Fi without VPN - no idea how as Hong Kong is still 50 km down the road. On my departure, the staff were pleasant to catch a taxi to the bus terminal for me and to explain what I needed to the driver - nice move! Should I ever need to stay in Dongguan again, definitely I'll consider this place.

  Very unique

  this is one the more unique city hotels I've stayed at. I say that because of the restroom style, which is very small, but not terrible. the rooms were very spacious. the breakfast is good... Chinese breakfast. It's in a good area located on a major street. That staff was nice and spoke basic english.

  Pretty basic, but great price and very clean.

  The hotel room is pretty basic as pictures show. It's clean, the bed is good, the TV is fairly large, and the shower works great. Not much in the way of clothes space. I had enough room and travelled with clothes for a month (but I'm a guy, so..). There is self-serve laundry and laundry service for only slightly more. You get instant coffee which has milk and some sugar already added, so if you don't want that bring your own. You get an electric water pot and free bottled water. Also a small refrigerator. AC is great, 2 elevators, morning breakfast is Chinese noodles (2 types), and other Chinese selections. Boiled eggs too. No scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, so it is not western style. Toast, butter, jam. More instant coffee. The location is good for walking. In one direction are parks with lakes. In the other is night life, bars and restaurants are everywhere. Big malls are walking distance. Hotel is next door to one of the SEG electronics markets (2 floors from what I could find). Some noise from hall and from outside. But it can't be considered loud. It's quiet at night. No noise from other rooms. Would I stay here again? Maybe/probably. The price is really good and this seems to check all the basic boxes. Wifi is very good.

  A budget hotel near Qifang Park and Metro station

  It is clean and tidy with polite and helpful staff. Breakfast is good value of money. Its location is very near subway station and the beautiful Qifang Park is within walking distance. A big shopping mall is adequate with shops and food outlets.
