No one can help you without Chinese languageThe hotel is good and Rooms are good also. Main problem of this hotel is communication. There is no perfect one at the hotel that can help you if you don't know Chinese language. Breakfast also is very poor and it has only Chinese foods. I think it's good choice for Chinese people.

Adequate lodgings for budget travel.I stayed here some time back while visiting some old friends in Changchun. It was a perfectly acceptable place to stay, and I have no real complaints. Pros: The room was quite attractively priced. The water pressure coming out of the shower was nice and strong, not something you often see in smaller Chinese hotels. Cons: The room was a bit on the small side, and the attached air conditioner couldn't manage to keep it cool, but it did manage to make it "not hot." The location is mildly inconvenient - but taxis are a plenty in that area.

Not fit for a dogChecked in, asked for an iron to be sent to my room. No irons in the hotel. Went to my room, walked in, turned around and checked out the hotel. Booked into the Shangri La instead. Aweful place, stinks of cigarettes, damp, and just run down and dirty.

good value for money, central location. This hotel is in a pretty good location, loads of restaurants nearby, and it is also local to a nice park with a lake that is safe to walk through at night. The staff were really friendly, and some have some English ability. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are not too confident in Mandarin. The breakfast is Chinese style with a minimal nod to the west (bread and a toaster with jam satchets- no butter) and is not good value for 16 kuai per person. For breakfast I would recommend turning to the right when you leave the hotel. Not too far down the road you will see (on the other side of the road) a 24 hour zhou1 restaurant (congee)the 24 hr logo is in English, and look out for the character , often displayed as a bowl logo with the character written as the pattern on the bowl). This is very similar to a yumcha restaurant in Australia - you can get all kinds of delicious foods here, and quickly. Dumplings, steamer dishes, pancakes, green veg etc. The waitress will seat you and give you a piece of paper. Take this to where the food is, and you will get a stamp for each dish you take back to your table. Give the paper to the cashier at the front door to pay as you leave. I would also like to recommend the restaurant next to the hotel (to the right when you walk out of the hotel). They have a picture menu and the food there, especially the dumplings, is really great and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was somewhere between a Chinese and Western style, and comfortable enough. We found the pillows too low, so we asked at the front desk for 2 more. This was no problem, with housekeeping dropping off two pillows at our door approximately 5 minutes later (for no charge). Overall the Ibis is good value. It is a cheap place to stay with Chinese standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
