  Ibis Budget St Gratien - Enghien les Bains

  I was concerned that the location was too far from Paris itself, but the commuter town has much to offer. I enjoyed traveling into Paris and also enjoying the local restaurants, shops and lake. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room - although small - was spotlessly clean and fulfilled all our needs. Highly recommended and excellent value for mioney

  Access to city

  I stayed for a couple of nights, the rooms were small but tidy enough. The Staff was helpful in booking the taxi etc. The parking accross is limited to a time and cannot park for a longer period. The area has good dining options and the St Gratien station connects to City Centre easily. Overall great value for moneyin the suburbs

  Not very impressed

  Price is cheap enough, location from station ok, quiet hotel with friendly staff, but that is where the good points end... Room had lots, and I mean, lots of cigarette burns on the wood laminate flooring (obviously the smoke alarm could be called into question), more cigarette burns on the window fill and the room smells of stale smoke. And to top this, there was a bag of rubbish dumped outside of the window, which was still there when I left. Other than that meh.

  Very good except for the parking

  There don't seem to be a lot of good hotels in the area but I booked this hoping it would be OK. My room exceeded expectations. It was clean and everything looked new or well maintained. The only issue was the door which wouldn't close without a yank - but oh well. The service in the lobby is hit-and-miss. Often would find no one up front. When I arrived I asked where to park they said "We have no parking." with a blank expression. I my first reaction was to leave and go find a hotel that did have parking. Nonetheless I did find parking on the street each night and it was never a problem. The breakfast also exceeded my expectations with a variety of breads, jams, egg, cheese, sliced meats, juice, etc. Overall I would recommend the hotel. But you have to decide what to do about your car everyday.

  Great location and staff

  Perfect location to stay when visiting Hippodrome d'Enghien which is within walking distance. The area itself is also decent with several restaurants etc. close by. The staff at the hotel was kind, informative and very helpful.
