  Ideal para una parada en ruta.

  Al lado de la Pacífic Hway. Resulta muy cómodo para hacer un alto en el viaje. Recomendable por la relación calidad-precio y la amabilidad del staff. El desayuno vale la pena ya que el precio es más que correcto.

  Elegiría otro - muy apartado

  Si vais haciendo la Ruta por el este, cogería otro destino, (Woolgoolga, corindi, red rock, que quedan relativamente cerca). El hotel ibis está muy apartado de todo. Tiene parking gratis y piscina. No tiene ascensor. Tiene aire acondicionado. No tiene secador. Creo que tiene wifi pero la chica no nos la dió, quizás se le olvidó. Tiene para hacer te o café. La habitación bastante justa, pero limpia. Si volviese a coffs cogería otro hotel algo más cerca de la playa.

  Budget with benefits

  Room is very basic (no wardrobe, drawers or bedside tables) but air con and TV were fine. And the window opened- yay! Bathroom is a wet room (shower curtain only) but guest laundry and guest microwave are great. Staff were helpful (especially Corinne) and nothing was too much trouble (spare plate, cutlery, use of the dining space after 9.30am). Coast Hotel restaurant next door is a bonus.

  Meets all the needs without being flashy

  Pros: on-site parking, location walking distance to town centre, Fridge, AC and TV in each room. Beds are comfortable and there is a small swimming pool at the entrance. Shared facilities like microwave, dining tables, laundry, vending machines at the lobby. Cons: No lifts, which is not idea for people with mobility issues. Only one washing machine and dryer to be shared in the lobby. Would recommend overall. Price is reasonable during peak season.

  Good rating despite not staying there

  I booked to stay at this premise in Jan 2021 through wotif. However, a COVID outbreak in late December completely messed up the plan. I spent significant time trying to seek a cancellation through Wotif, but was given the royal run-around (you know the joy of listening to dodgy music, being told your call is important, then you speak to an agent, repeat your story, get told you will have a response in 24 hours, then repeat). In the end, I managed to speak to the hotel directly, and one of the staffs, Carine was nothing but a joy to deal with. She helped me by triggering the cancellation on their end. I bet these folks have had a difficult 2020, and then got hit by another round of cancellation at the start of 2021. Yet, the staffs still behave impeccably. I still plan to make a trip up there when the situation allows and will want to stay at this place - it may not be the most posh nor the best, but at least I know this is one establishment which tries to do the right thing through tough times.
