Great value hotelStayed overnight here on 9th Sept to attend a funeral in Bradford, check in was efficient and friendly rooms spotlessly clean which is good considering COVID-19. Breakfast was a grab and go which had a good selection for £6 which we ate in our room. Plenty of safe parking on site and lots of restaurants within walking distance. All in all a good choice of budget hotel.

Good value, great staff but £40 deposit taken when check in omline outrageous!I have stayed here before, quite a few years ago. Checked in online prior to 2 night stay, booked and paid for in advance. When finished online check in Ibis then took £40 deposit, showing as pending in my bank. This was annoying as then had £40 less to spend on my weekend, and already on tight budget. I am typing this a day after checked out, £40 still 'pending' and not been cancelled, so haven't even got it back on the day when checked out as told by staff. The hotel itself is near to the railway station but very busy road junctions to cross to get there, then lots of steps to the entrance if you aren't driving not good for mobility problems unfortunately. However the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room 205 was very clean, near to the lift, bed very comfy, great shower, warm and spacious, modernised since last stay. Few stains on the carpet need sorting though, and view of the bins not great when lovely canal further up! Very good value for money, would be nice is cooked breakfast available on site rather than packed lunch style, but the Noble Comb pub next door. I would stay again but not check in online, so ridiculous £40 taken from me, amounting to 2/3rds what I paid for my stay. As no mini bar facilities in room dont understand what 'extras' this covers?? Sort this policy out it's unfair and misleading

Comfortable stay.Stayed here 2 nights from Sat 31 Oct. Convenient location, comfortable lounge area (often missing at many lower budget hotels) and friendly staff. Rooms are well thought out, a decent size and very clean, however the 1st room I was given, 213, overlooking the canal, smelled of cigarette smoke and there was a small plastic bag taped over the smoke detector. This is not the hotel's fault, but you would think housekeeping would have noticed. On mentioning this to the receptionist she immediately offered to move me to room 215 which I accepted. Overall I was happy with my 2 night stay. One rather quirky thing I noticed about the room was that the desk light would only work when the main lights were on. At night having just the desk light and a bedside reading light would give a nice ambience for watching TV or working on a computer.

Ideal overnight stop.We needed somewhere to stay for just one night as the Covid restrictions prohibited us from staying with our daughter. The Ibis was ideally located, the check in process was straightforward, our room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable and the price very reasonable. We would use this hotel again if the need were to arise.

Dated and basicStayed 1 night, did have 5 nights booked for various dates in the month but decided to cancel them and go somewhere else. If the furniture wasn't in the room the carpets would have walked to the bin they were disgusting. Furniture very old and dated. I was surprised given this is not an IBIS budget hotel, I wonder what they are like!!. However the staff were friendly and the shower was nice and the bed was comfy enough for 1 night.
