  Lovely place, lovely owners, no internet

  I Castagnoni is a countryside hotel in a very typical landscape for Piemont. The house was built 1850, but it was renovated a few years ago (2011, I guess) and is in a very good shape. Cleaning service was moderate. Facilities like toilets and sink were very clean, also beds (including sheets and pillow in good shape) and towels. But the non-daily cleaning service could be improved. There were multiple spiderwebs in the room. Not a problem, but this is probably why you might read about dissatisfaction regarding cleaning service. The owners (especially the male owner) are very lovely and so helpful. When our AC broke, they repaired it the same day (Saturday, no technician available) by replacing the pump with the one from their own room, just to make sure we feel comfortable. Thank you very much! Breakfast buffet is not very large, but there's everything you need. They also offer good coffee and fresh orange juice. Internet doesn't work very well. No Internet in the rooms and at reception it doesn't work always. And if it works, it's pretty slow. We did not use the spa.

  Peace & quiet

  Lovely clean room with all amenities, wifi not so good but if you go to main building it works perfectly. Very adequate breakfast & hosts very friendly & helpful. We had the pool & spa to our selves even though it was high season. Will definitely return when possible, thank you Alessandra & Donato for making us feel so welcome .

  Air conditioner is not working, +35 in the room

  we booked a room with air conditioner. But it is almost not working. The temperature in the room is almost the same as outside, +35C. Its very hot. We have contacted the reception, they replied that the A/C is on maximum, they cant do anything.

  Don't stay here

  I will not recommend this B&B to anyone. An old house, who don't live up to the standard, and way to expensive, comparing to the level of quality. Lack of professionalism , and not worth a stay. Not that clean, very bad breakfast, and everything needs a big renovation. Choose an other hotel.

  Wonderful week!

  My wife and I plus our 3 children had a wonderful relaxing week at B&B I Castagnoni. We stayed in the Iris apartment with kitchen amenities. My sisters family joined us for 3 nights also and booked 2 other rooms in the same building (Rose and Gerani). wifi not so good but if you go to main building it works perfectly. Very adequate breakfast & hosts and staff were very friendly & helpful. We had the pool largely to ourselves even though it was high season. We did not use the spa. Will definitely return when possible. Thank you Alessandra & Donato for making us feel so welcome .
