  Strange place - but that's not the hotel's fault!

  Felt a little bit like sleeping in an office - no trimmings. The room was incredibly hot on arrival and remained so until I managed to wrestle the window into submission and open it more than 3cm! That said - room was very comfortable and quiet (until the flock of hungry seagulls descended at 4am!) and I slept well. Very friendly staff who offered to serve breakfast 1/2 hour early as we had an early start. Hvide Sande - now that is another story; Butlins without the redcoats or customers... ...actually on second thoughts... Great location in a weird place!

  Difficult to rate. Probably best hotel in town?

  As this is the only real "Hotel" in this nice coastal town, it is very hard to rate this. If you want to spend one night in Hvide Sande, this is one of the few choices. As noted in earlier reviews, this is not exactly an hotel but a mix between self service hotel and hostel. Rooms could not get any more basic than this. Our room had strange smell, probably coming from wall-to-wall carpeting. Bed linen and towels were clean and beds were comfortable. I would consider biggest issue is the fact that there is no permanent staff who could help in case of problems. Rooms are hot but ocean wind cools them down if you are able to sleep windows open. There are some religious artefacts on the walls but no other signs of disturbing activity was seen. (Except church bells ringing at 7AM) As a summary, this place would be a dump in a city but OK for a base for 1-2 day visit in this nice town. For longer visits, I would try to rent a holiday home. Good to note: The checkout time is 10AM. There is grocery store just next to hotel. Local bakery (300 m from hotel) is excellent place for breakfast.

  Great small hotel

  Hvide Sande is a sweet littke town right on the west coast of Jutland, The hotel is just next to the habour and if you´re lucky and get a room on the right side you have a great view of the harbour. calling this place a hotel is maybe a bit too much, there´s no breakfast (but there´s a great bakery about meters away where you vcan buy breakfast. As for dinner and lunch, there´s lots og good restaurants in the town. I can highly reccomend this hotel, it´s quirt, it´s cleand and it´s cheap. I'm deffiantly comming back.

  Nice accommodation

  Situated in the town centre, in walking distance of most of the habour. The hotel is close to some nice restaurants. Service is very friendly and the family rooms are nice in size. The staff is local and very supportive!

  More a hostel than a hotel

  I would not call this a hotel but more a hostel with private rooms. It is a bit pricy compared for what you get. There is no breakfast. Even though I stayed in a no-smoking room, my room smelled like someone had been smoking in there. I is situation right in town which is Nice. It is a okay place, but should be Way cheaper..
