Good Hotel but renovation neededI have been here during a business-trip to China. The Hotel was recommended to be one of the best in town. The first Impression underlined this, the reception area as well as the room floors look new and taken-care of. However, entering the room the carpet looked old, the beds do not offer a high sleep Quality. Although the swiiming pool / fitness area looks very nice, the fitness Equipment (Ergometer) did not work properly - could be easily repaired, I guess. As an international hotel there should be power-plug adapter in the room. Overall a nice stay, with reasonable pricing, but renovation needed to stay one of the best places in town.

Good business hotelHad a walk in stay , courtesy my Chinese friend from Huzhou. The hotel is decent modern property. Had a comfortable stay. The location is also convenient with many options nearby. Concluded few successful business meetings during the stay. The breakfast needs some more options pf veg food . I think this challenge is faced by vegans every where in South east asia and Far east too ;((((

Great place & great location to stay in HuzhouThe International Hotel is one of the oldest and the largest hotels in Huzhou. Huzhou is a peaceful small (Chinese small, large being Shanghai) town out of Shanghai. The town is beautiful with great waking streets, peaceful and calm. The Hotel is smack in the middle of town and you can stroll away for everything. THE GOOD. 1. Great hotel for business travelers, I checked in at 3 AM, very smooth and it took hardy 2 minutes. Most of staff understand bit of English and communication requires a bit of effort but is not a problem at all. 2. ROOMS a. Spick and Span..Clean with plethora of amenities well thought off. Room had everything, and accessories were very well thought off..Fruits were fresh..Ramen noodles and snacks stocked for the hungry traveler. Chinese Green Tea was great. b. Bathroom was good and clean with everything in stock, shavers, brush, comb, cream, shampoo etc. etc. c. Soundproof and no noise..The AC was also silent. d. Great Bead..with great Linen..SLEEP QUALITY was FANTASTIC.. To my surprise it was one of the best rooms I have stayed in a 4 star business hotel. No smell, clean and spotless. Everything in its place. 3. Booked a wake up call, was understood clearly and woken up on time. 4. No WIFI (chargeable) otherwise internet has to be accessed via a LAN cable, this is somewhat of a problem for those who don't have LAN ports. 5. NO converter PLUGS available, so better carry a world adapter or you cannot charge your devices..Phone chargers work without converter. BREAKFAST 1. Great Spread..Caters to all, has some international selection. But yes all cuisine in China is skewed towards Non-Vegetarians. So if you are a vegetarian don't blame the hotel (its like going to a desert and complaining about too much sand). Overall a great place to stay and would choose this hotel again in my next travel.

Avoid booking there if you are europeanThis hotel is absolutey overrated if you are expecting european standard for a 5 star hotel. Everything is old and smelling after cold smoke. I've been there for around 10 times now within 6 months and in all "EXECUTIVE ROOMS" for 458RMB/night the hangings at bathroom side were crisscrossed with big mold spots. Absolutely dangerous for your health. Sorry, for this price, I expect a better performance. Also, the house shoes were already used when I checked in. The water is really expensive, no free water in room, staff absolutely unfriendly and terrible english. This is NOT "international", dear "Hotel international" ! All employees of our company will prefer to stay at another hotel next time visiting Huzhou.

Decent PropertyGood Business Hotel. It's an old hotel but rightly maintained and is modern. Breakfast was good and had a wide range of options. Right beside the hotel is a street market where one can have a nice stroll at night.
