  Superb part of the world

  Stayed here for the week as accomodation was booked out throughout the city. Wowee! Its only a 30min drive from the city but well worth it. The rooms are massive. You are not confined to a small hotel room. Sitting outside your room you are greeted with stunning gardens a few chickens. Gives you the country feel. The owners have done a fantastic job and is a credit to them. Great place will be back some day.

  Charming Accommodation

  We recently had a four night stay at the Huonville Guesthouse and were absolutely delighted with this immaculate property. We stayed in the Sakura Studio which was just beautiful and where Nadia's attention to every little detail was appreciated. Both our hosts, Nadia and Daniel, were welcoming, friendly and helpful but all the while, maintaining and respecting their guests privacy. Staying in Huonville enabled us to travel short distances every day to explore the glorious countryside of South-East of Tasmania. We would highly recommend a stay at Huonville Guesthouse.

  Gracious, old world charm in glorious setting

  As soon as Nadia opened the door to our room, it was impossible not be impressed by the grandeur of the old house beautifully maintained with period features complimented by modern amenities. The room was huge, the bed comfortable, the kitchenette well appointed and the en-suite immaculate. With winter approaching and the weather being cold, we didnt spend time in the garden, but were able to appreciate the loving care of both older plants and newer additions - something new at every turn.

  Old World Charm

  This B&B is to say the lease charming. Set back off the main road and behind a spectacular yet simple garden the home presents as welcoming to the traveler. On arrival you are met by the owners who show you quickly and yet efficiently to your room. From there you are let alone which I love. It is a bit of a walk (10 minutes) to town and the Huon river but worth it. The Breakfast is just some cereal milk, juice and bread left with you when you are shown the room which does sadden me just a little. The choice of a larger hot breakfast would have been nice. I can say that this place is worth a big tick if you love old world charm, beautifully appointed rooms and privacy.

  Peaceful and relaxing

  Immaculate room with period furniture in a private part of the large garden. Loved everything about it. Hosts were discreet yet attentive and generous. Provided a great base from which to explore the many attractions in the south.
