Given CLR Mold & Midlew remover at check-inRoom 103 on Sunday, June 16th: $159 is not an inexpensive rate. I didn't expect a completely remodeled suite after the August 2017 hurricane. I did expect a sanitary room. The black mold growing in the shower and on the wall behind the kitchen trashcan is unacceptable. The glass, Fritos, and cigarette butt behind the trashcan is a lack of work ethic. The outside of the range is filthy as well as the floor between the range and the cabinet. It wasn't a big deal for me to ask for 3 lightbulbs (lamp was lacking both and the bathroom light was flickering), batteries for the TV remote (check-in gentleman gave me a new remote because new batteries didn't remedy the original remote). Even the peeling of the bathroom door and cabinets wasn't a deal breaker. However, having to ask for mold remover so that I could try to clean the wall behind the trash can and spray down the shower was a horrible customer experience. The picture of the wall (attached) is after I cleaned it. On June 26th, Ken Patel huntscastle@yahoo.com replied to me and apologized for any inconvenience and that he could not issue a full refund. He said If I had requested a refund after checking in, he would have done it. He stated after a stay is completed he can't issue any refunds. He said I did not mention anything at the time of checkout. He repeated he can not issue a refund after checkout and after a stay is completed. What nonsense that I didn't mention "anything". I said the shower had mold all in it when I checked in and was handed CLR Mold & Mildew remover. He didn't even go look for himself or offer another room.

HorribleWorst place I have ever been! Filthy, dirty microwave, dirty sheets, cigarette butts in the window sill. Smelled horrible. Found a pair of pants under the edge of bed. Complained and they said I could change rooms, so I said I would look at another room. 2nd room had pee on the toilet seat, dirty fridge, dirty floor. Asked for a refund, and they said they would have to wait on bookings.com, I messaged them and they said they would tell them they needed to give it. They finally agreed. Never set foot again. Also air conditioner had mold.

StunnedBased on location, access to long pier and price we chose this place. It could be a homeless shelter in my mind. 2 Bedroom does not mean 2 Separate bedrooms. It means 2 beds in one room. Mold, dirt, plaster coming off walls, white bath towels stained. Frig yes but rusty and no light. Side lamp switch broken so you just plug it in to work. Landscape overgrown. Bought sheets at Dollar store so I would not sleep on theirs. Pier supposed to be lighted. Not. Stayed one night and left. Pics are prior to hurricane Harvey. They did not renovate. Trashy place.

Beware!!The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was scheduled to stay 2 nights and left after 1. The rooms are are filthy. I wouldnt walk barefoot on the floors and there was no way I was taking a shower in this place. The room I was in had an overwhelming smell of mold. I doubt if staying in this room is healthy. If there is a health department in Rockport they need to visit all of the rooms and test to see if they are fit for human habitation. Do not be swayed by old pre Hurricane Harvey reviews. Ask to see your room first if you decide to stay here anyway.

Worst EVER! Any rating over a 1 is way too kind! This place is so nasty! We were greeted by a completely bashed up front door that was almost impossible to close. As you walk in, the smell of mold and mildew immediately assaults you. Everything is dirty, rusted or broken. I was afraid to walk barefoot in the room. The bathroom door and door between the two bedroom areas wer both broken. The bathroom cabinets were broken and it looked like, from the mold circle above the bathtub, that the 3rd floor tub/shower (or maybe in toilet-gross!) had leaked into the 2nd floor at some point. Even though the room had been vacant, and supposedly cleaned to prepare for our arrival, there was a huge ashtry full of butts just outside my balcony door (even butts in my window sill!). Besides the view of the water and the location walking distance to town, there was nothing nice about this hotel, especially given the prices! Additionally, customer service is almost non-existent! They take payment up front only, even when they have your card on-file, and request cash; even when a hurricane is heading your way and you may have to evacuate, they will not refund your money. I can only guess they do this because of the high probability that you will want to leave once you see your room. Stay away! These are complete shysters running this place. They are going to going collecting money until they run it into the ground and it doesn't look like they will ever invest back into it. It would be merciful if the next hurricane just completely destroys it! Please don't give these abusers any more money. I travel a lot, from luxury to 3rd world countries and this is hands down, the worst hotel I have ever seen! I wish Hotel Impossible were still filming... this hotel needs it!
