  Mixed feelings

  I must confess I have very mixed feelings about this hotel, and our stay. The hotel is at an excellent spot in the middle of Balatonalmádi, 5 minutes from the beach only. We had a room on the 7th floor with lake view. The room size was okay, so was the bathroom. In the bathroom the shower was broken spilling water all over the place. In the room the wifi was simply unusable! 1kb/sec transfer speeds, could not even read outlook emails so we had to use mobil data to surf the net. This is ridiculous in 2018!!! Also the tv was like 20 years old, with terrible reception : many of the channels were unwatchable. Pictures froze etc. Such a shame! The food was okay and plentiful. Breakfast was also decent, nothing to complain about there. The swimming pool (in-door) is a nice feature but why is it only 1,20 meter "deep" ? Also it smells strongly of chlorine. The bar offers a nice selection of drinks, but the lemonade's we have tried were all overloaded with sugar. (syrup) This is a great hotel but there is a LOT to improve. I hope the management will read this.

  Soviet style lives on here...

  Older place that feels trapped in socialist times. Needs upkeep outside. Rooms are ok but the beds are old and cranky. Food was decent. Parking was good a nice location. Too many hard and rusty edges, and worn out fixtures.

  Friendly staff and nice breakfast and dinner

  I had a great time at this hotel together with friends and family. We chose the rooms with a view over lake Balaton. The pool and the private beach is excellent and the gym is well equipped. This hotel is suitable for people who enjoys an active lifestyle.

  Bugs everywhere (photos attached) - rude receptionists

  Very very annoying, disappointing and disgusting what just happened when we arrived at night to the hotel room. Bugs everywhere on the wall, millions of them. FOR THE PRICE OF $163/night? We called the receptionist, it was even more annoying how rude and unhelpful he was: he said i have to come down to the reception and he can give us a spray, but not a new room and he is not willing to come and help us as he is alone They just dont care at all. Never experienced this kind of behavior before! Felt like Im in a hostel, but not in a 4*hotel at all! Retro, dirty and disinterested employees. Not recommended at all!

  Hotel - na 4. hviezdicku este nema, objektivne tri. Strava je chutna, ale s malymi obmenami aj to len na veceru. Pobyt s mensimi detmi neodporucam, je tam iba jeden bazen s hlbkou 120cm, plaz je na tom rovnako. Personal sa sprava standartne a skor uzavreto. Na veceri vam nikto nic neponukne musite si ziadat sami. Detto v lobby bare, pokial som barmanku sam neoslovil, sama neprisla - drinky vsak uz doniesla, za co si nezabudli uctovat servis. Parkovanie sa plati tiez, co ma prekvapilo. Takisto prekvapenim pre mna bol skoro neexistujuci vnutorny info system, kde by boli online prepojeny naramkom alebo kartou s plazou, kde nas denne kontrolovali podla cisla izby a stacil by len pipac s turniketom a hotovo. Otrasny bol stav TV. Stare zariadenie s katastrofalnou kvalitou vysielania. Divny vyber TV stanic, z ktorych ako tak fungovala iba jedna aj to postavy mali zeleny vyraz. Inak prostredie velmi pekne, hotel ma naviac, len su potrebne investicie. The hotel - on the fourth star has not, objectively three. The food is tasty, but with little variation even for dinner. Stay with young children do not recommend, there is only one pool with a depth of 120 cm, the beach is doing as well. Personal is standard and introverted. For dinner nobody offers anything you have to ask for yourself. Detto in the lobby bar, if I did not speak to the bartender, she did not come alone - but she had already brought drinks for what they did not forget to charge the service. Parking is also paid for, which surprised me. Also a surprise for me was the almost non-existent internal info system, where they would be connected online by bracelet or card with a beach, where they checked us daily by room number and all they needed was a turnstile and done. Terrible was the state of TV. Old equipment with disastrous broadcast quality. Weird selection of TV stations, from which only one of them worked, even the characters had the green light. Otherwise the environment very nice, the hotel has extra, only the necessary investments.
