  great value for money hotel just outside Munich

  I recently stayed at Hotel Huberwirt having visited Munich to watch the Champions League Final. I very much enjoyed my stay; staff at the hotel were very friendly and amenable with all speaking good English. The room we stayed in was vast, clean, and well equipped with SKY TV and a modern bathroom; it was also reasonably priced with great views over the courtyard. The food at the hotels restaurant was also great with a wide selection of traditional and non-traditional German food. Initially I was concerned with the location with it being outside of Munich town centre but the quaint little town of Eching was easily accessible to both the city and the airport. The hotel was about a 10minute walk away from the train station, which was a 20 minute ride from the Marinplatz (Munich's main square) with trains running every 20 minutes. I would thoroughly recommend hotel Huberwirt to anyone planning to visit Munich, we travelled as a couple and found staying out of the city was easy, the location was serene and less frantic especially with all the football fans around at the time of our visit.

  Perfect little hotel

  Nice quiet location in small village. Its about a 6 min walk to train station with excellent communication to central Munich (30 mins). Stayed here for one night as wanted to be near airport and near city. Am very pleased i did! All staff were very friendly and hotel was full of personal touches. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were great - comfortable and clean.

  Supernice little hotel; lovely German charm

  we lucked upon this hotel in the course of traveling to Neufarhn bei Freising. Wish we had discovered this one first. Stayed one night, then stayed again on the way back to Munich. Hotel staff just lovely, friendly, and accomodating. Room nice size and bathroom shower awesome. Breakfast was also included, which was one of the best we had in hotels. Really enjoyed staying here.

  A wonderful location and hotel for an overnigh before flight.

  I am an extremely picky traveler and like things right and will readily admit it. If I am paying for a decent hotel I expect it to fit the bill if you will. Hotel Huberwirt did just that, the room was very clean and the linen appeared to be ironed. The bathroom was adequate as well. What made this hotel special was it's restaurant, absolutely wonderful. My veal chop in a red wine sauce with shaved asparagus and new potatoes was a big hit and the best meal I had in Germany. To top this off the young lady Barbara who was our waitress was wonderful as well. There was nothing she overlooked and she was there in a second if I needed something. She made our dining experience a star five. Forgot to mention the lady who was at the front desk when we arrived, can't remember but she was Scottish, very outgoing and helpful at check in, check out, and was there for the wonderful breakfast the next morning. I take my hat, I mean cap off to the staff and hotel management for a great experience.

  At this hotel we felt like home ! It's a very nice place with very nice people ! It might be a bit old but it's perfectly clean . We got to stay on the third floor for 7 nights under the roof and we loved it ! Such a cosy place ... our room was big and the bathroom was nice too . Nice breakfast and a nice quiet location to stay , just 23 km away from Munich
