  Great location with excellent snow, but wrong Hotel

  Paying more than 300 euro per room feels like a joke, if you do not enjoy: - small 30 years ago furnished rooms - over heated rooms - unfriendly staff (because it was most likely the end of the season) - music in the Tenne that is close to a personal injury (Körperverletzung) we survived two bands - super loud small swimming pool But it has been all very clean5 in the hotel and the snow has been outstanding. BTW: great place for lunch and apres Ski is 500 Meter away the Weiberl Himmel. They need to upgrade, if they like to charge like a real 4 or 5* hotel.

  Great Ski in/out Hotel with excellent facilities

  Stayed here on a half board basis whilst attending Ski Test. Room is clean and spacious although does not have tea/coffee making facilities. Beds are the typical Austrian double i.e two single mattresses on a double base but comfortable enough. Breakfast offers good cold options but cooked options only appear sporadically and you can be unlucky if eating early or late. The restaurant offers a comprehensive 5 course menu every evening however many choices are very similar e.g. two option for main course both fish! that said food is well cooked and presented. The downstairs piste bar offers a wide range of cooked options on an a la carte basis at reasonable prices and again the standard is very high. Bar prices for beers, soft drinks and local spirits are reasonable, but a G&T can quickly cost in excess of 15 euros if you order a premium gin.

  Lovely holiday

  Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was lovely and spacious with gorgeous views over the mountains. The pool area was lovely and clean & the food was delicious. Bus stop at the bottom of the road to Ishgl and ski lifts very close by, definitely recommend this hotel!

  Good hotel but small details let the place down

  Nice refurbished room, good quality meal, but being refused a jug of water with our meal and being forced to buy a bottle of still water for 6 euros left a bad taste. Our waitress explained that it was management policy. The whole thing seemed really petty.

  Splendid hotel

  We spent a week at the Almhof and could not fault it. Lovely bedrooms with lots of character, food of the highest quality - imaginative, tasty and excellent service, and the bonus of direct access to the slopes. We really enjoyed the Panorama Tenne restaurant too which provided a very good place to meet for coffee or lunch. We also enjoyed a superb fondu there one evening. The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. A comfy chair arrived in my room 5 minutes after asking if that was possible. The spa was also one of the best we have visited. Very much looking forward to a return visit. Oh and I forgot the cheese - wow!
