  Not a fantastic hotel but worth for money

  We, family of 7 stay in Huayu Minfu for a night before heading to Dong Guan. Room is fine, furnished with standard bathroom, comfortable bed, TV and fridge. Overall is acceptable despite we think that some of the hotel room is quite old and needed an upgrade if possible. I strongly recommend to opt for triple room instead since the price difference is most likely going to cost RMB 30-40 only. There are also other amenities available around the hotel such as KTV, Massage Center and a small grocery shop for you to get some cup noodle, beer or cigarette if necessary. ATM machine is also a stone throw away.

  Chinese new year 2013

  I am from Ireland and stayed in this hotel with a friend last night. We found it to be very well, priced, clean and with friendly staff willing to go the extra mile to help. We also got a free breakfast thrown in. I cant understand how anyone could have a gripe with this hotel. John D

  Horrible and cheese

  The hotel was horrible. I've changed 4 times room. 1st because of the noise from night club under the room. 2nd because of smoking section (impossible to breath) and 2 times because of the fungal. The fungal was everywhere- in the bath, on the floor- everywhere! there are only 2 persons who understood English, one of them even could speak.

  All--In One

  This hotel has a very impressive looking lobby. Although there should be more seating available in the lobby. There's a restaurant next door, as well as a bar. There's also an attached massage business. A bit far from city center though.

  Absolute nightmare

  Terrible terrible experience dealing with the hotel staff. We booked in advanced and when we arrived to check-in, we were told to top-up 50RMB to change our room. Apparently the room they had assigned to us were right above a night club and will be noisy throughout the night. We didnt complain and paid. (but basically this is their message: "We are giving you a bad room, pay us more or you have to stay in the bad room") When we entered our room, there was a really foul smell emitting from somewhere in the room. Requested to change our room, but was scolded by the hotel manager (MANAGER) over the phone, before he hung up on us. All this coming from a hotel that claims to be a 4-star international hotel. Abject service. By the way, the room/ amenities is no where close to a 4-star hotel. We changed hotel the next day and was much happier with the bigger room, better service, whilst at the same price.
