  Good service and hotel facilities. Chinese and western breakfast. Noone speak English except the customer care manager Sabrina that was very polite and available to help us. It is not close to the city center but with didi and with the taxi (around 100 yen=12)you'll get in 30 mins

  very good for a short stay

  This is an excellent hotel for a short stay in Kunming. Spotless room. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed, linen and towels. You can usually find someone at the front desk who speaks enough English to help you.

  Comfortable stay

  I stayed at Howard Johnson for a business trip. Comfortable room, nice breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff. We arrived a bit early so that our rooms were not available yet. However, the manager upgraded us to the suites to make sure we could get rooms and have our rest. Throughout our stay, the manager was also very approachable, which helped us in having a comfortable and convenient stay! Very close to this hotel, there is a park (Luolong park) with jogging track surrounding a small lake. Beautiful experience!

  Reliable comfort!

  Our family group of 5 stayed 4 nights at this very comfortable & well appointed hotel. I endorse what others have said about food, service & friendliness. A particular kudo to Hero Liu - always friendly & helpful, & always with gifts for the 2 grandchildren in our party! I regret that the grandchildren have become addicted to a degree of luxury!   LOW QUALITY HOTEL

  I paid extra and booked the hotel online on the official hotel site. when I arrived the hotel they could not find my reservation. I showed them the confirmation I received from them, but it took them half an hour to retrieve it and give me the room key. I arrived the room, but the key did not work, had to be replaced room is small, hotel is located very far from city center, the uniform of the staff are not clean, could not watch the television in the room since it was all in Chinese, air condition is very weak, extremely slow wifi all over the hotel, toilet in my room did not work properly and was NOT fixed despite my complaint, staff's English level is almost zero. in every hotel I have been staying , good or bad there is always some good things to wrote about the hotel, the staff or service, NOT in this hotel very low quality
