  Lovely stay here, excellent food, rooms and staff 11/10 Well Done

  Liked · We have stayed here before in past years, but this hotel now has new management and a great deal of money has been spent on bringing it up to the high standard it is today! Good selection at breakfast, very attentive waiting staff. They even cater for food intolerances and go out of their way to get what you need. We had a meal one evening in the restaurant and was well presented and tasty, again very attentive waiting staff. The restaurant and bar area has been refurbished to a high standard with great attention to detail, with matching decor and modern bright colours. We were in Room 11 and was well equipped with new furnishings, fittings, very modern We dealt with Uly on reception and he was a very welcoming and knowledgeable young chap. In my opinion, he is a great asset to the business. We will definitely be back. We would like to see the hotel upgraded to 4 star Well done Hougue Du Pommiers

  Fantastic

  This hotel is awesome we booked because they accept dogs but when we got here wow beautiful grounds the staff were so helpful and welcoming and when we got to our room it was just beautiful massive beds microwave fridge toasters every personalised touch just gorgeous the food was out of this world and plenty of grounds to keep my pooch happy also has swimming pool (seasonal) tennis courts picnic areas everything you could wish for and only 11.00 in taxi from Port to get here

  An extremely caring reception team!

  I recently visited this hotel with my mum and sister, I booked my room through Booking.com and my mums direct, my mum got the better deal ! My sister was upgraded so she could be near to me, and my mum had a downstairs room as there are no lifts. The hotel was beautifully furnished and spotless. The staff were very accommodating especially the reception team ( we did cause them a few problems!) This made our visit thoroughly enjoyable, the breakfast was nicely cooked and of good quality, the waiting staff again a pleasure. WELL DONE HOTEL HOUGUE DU POMMIER! If Im ever in need of a room in Guernsey I will be back in a heart beat

  Fab find

  3 night stay at the Hotel Hougue du Pommier has been nothing short of fantastic, from arrival to departure the staff have been absolutely wonderful. The reception staff have gone above and beyond pampering to our every needs, like making last minute reservations to arranging taxis (for this we thank you). The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hotel is located less than 5 minutes drive to the coast with stunning views. The only negative is that we visited during the winter months and the pool was yet to be open and the grounds are beautiful.

  Beautifully redecorated

  Stayed four nights in this lovely recently redecorated hotel. Rooms were comfortabel and spacious with coffee making facilities and hair dryer. Only bit of criticism is that there was no electric socket under or near the dressing table to accommodate the hairdryer plug. The food in the restaurant was well prepared and tasty and the wine list had a good variety of wines to choose from. The bar area was lovely and cozy and we chose to have a couple of meals there rather than in the formal restaurant. Full English breakfast was lovely and buffet with cereals, cheese, ham, croissants, yogurts and fruits were sufficient to get your day started. I give all the staff a thumbs up for being friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely return to stay
