  Cappocino strip

  There is a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants near to this establishment. This is a good hotel, still the rooms are on smaller side. We enjoyed the Cappocino strip nearby. Definitely recommend

  Great staycation in Freo

  My husband and I enjoyed three nights at Hougoumont. Marco (Manager) & the team were fantastic and friendly with great hospitality. They did not hesitate when we ask for several requests. The room is quirky and modern and love their ethos as a eco-friendly hotel. Really like the complimentary items (breakfast & happy hour drinks and canapés); small suggestion/recommendation would like avocado with your awesome bread selection. Location is great - so close to the main cafe strip and local events. Thanks again, hope to see you again soon. Love, the Magnos

  Great vibes and customer service

  I had to travel to Fremantle from down south. Had a birthday party. Over the course of the year, I tried a number of different hotels around Fremantle - until I arrived at Hougoumont last week. It is hands down my absolute favourite place to stay in Freo now. The interiors are warm and inviting with unique visual elements like shipping containers out at the back. The staff is just amazing. Mauricio at reception was beyond warm and welcoming. Great personality with a very good sense of humour too. I could see in everyone's face a big smile when he was around. Rooms are small but very clean. I would definitely advice to book the state room as it's way bigger. All my friends came over to check their new bar Calamity's rod and they simply loved it. I will see you really soon again Hougoumont, Thanks for a great stay! C

  Great location, great staff, great value

  Loved our short stay here. Could not fault anything. Easy walk to cafes, bars, markets and port area. Locked Carpark was handy. The staff member at front of house was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Complimentary cheese and drink at happy hour at the brewery onsite was great. Room was nice and tidy, although being a sea container it's not huge. Bed was super comfy. Breakfast is "toast" but using great bread - possibly from bread in common down the road? Would happily stay again.

  Stay Cay

  Short one night staycation. Great location from all the small bars. Free wine and cheese in the evening and conti bfast in the morning. Room was small but we werent here to sleep. Great value and welcoming
